I see thst these post are now over 10 years old but i am just know seeing this. My grandmother was Addie Deal and my great grandmother was Susan Timpson/ Deal. I use to live in Mcalester but have moved in the last year. I have several pictures of the Deal family that was in some things of my grandmothers. I would like to know more about the relation with you and the Deal family. You can contact me through my email address.

My search for my Grandma at Eastern State in vanita   1501

I have been trying to search for my Great Grandma. I know she apparently admitted her self when My grandpa was about 6 months. I don't know what for though. From what I understand she was out sometime when he was between the age 5 and 10 cause he seen her. Thought he didn't know it was her. I found a census from there that she was on but that was the extent of it. I don't know anything about her from before she was married to my Great Great Grandpa who was full blood indian. She was White. My Grandpa was born 1914 so that is about the time she was in the hospital. I have tried calling the museum there and they have nothing and I tried calling other local offices and still nothing. Her name is Minnie Wyrick Dick. she was born between 1881 and 1890. That is the most I know.

Hi Christy, we have been in contact since this posting which is the first time I'm seeing this. Don't know why I did not get a notification. But in case others want to know the relation, my ggrandmother Katie Timpson was the sister to Susan Timpson/Deal.

I already have all the information you posted and some of it I put online myself, like the find-a-grave memorials.I have emailed the Craig County Genealogy Society and the Library and the Washington County, Arkansas one. I have heard nothing from anyone.

Is anyone having any luck getting their relative's records? I'm searching my great aunt, Nora Gertrude Winey (b. 1881 Mo. d. abt 1940 Vinita). I'd like to know about the condition that institutionalized her, as she was once a very bright young woman. A census from the hospital shows that she was married for 1 year, but I can't find any info about her married name. Can anyone help? Thank you.
