Re: DORA HAMPTON TROTTER   1210

Query posted by Trotter4Bears on July 22, 2010 for TROTTER

I am a Trotter and my family is also from the Vinita /White Oak area. I too have DOB=Cherokee but not from the Trotter line. My grandmother Minnie Harlan was the Cherokee and she married Wm Andrew Jackson Trotter. I don't know how your Guy Trotter fits into my Trotter family but if we search back far enough I bet there is a common thread.

Trolinger-Fewell lookup   1213

Query posted by Baskins, Marjorie T. on August 26, 2010 for , TROLINGER, FEWELL

I am looking for someone to look for an article in the July 22, 1910 "Indian Weekly Chieftain" newspaper of Vinita, Oklahoma: The death of Mrs. Allie Fewell, Cousin of J M Trolinger. The Craig County Geneological Society at Vinita is supposed to have the paper on microfilm. I will gladly pay for a copy of this article.
Thank You.

Re: burials at Carselowey Cem   1214

Query posted by Stephwm1 on September 15, 2010 for , MCKINNEY, PALMER

RE: My previous request for help finding graves of George Washington McKinney & his wife, Mary Jane Palmer:
I have found the grave of Mary J. [Palmer] McKinney (Oct 20, 1848 - April 20, 1920) in Fairview Cememtery, Vinita, Craig Co. Oklahoma.
But I'm still searching for the grave of George Washington McKinney, born Feb. 1848, Ohio; died circa 1937. Washington McKinney resided at 345 Wilson St., Vinita, and was on the 1920 Census of Craig County. He was in Stephen Co. OK on 1910 Census [as McKenney]. Any help in located his grave would be greatly appreciated.
