Funeral services for Howard A. PARKER, 72, of Guthrie will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Smith Memorial Chapel in Guthrie. Rob McElroy will officiate the service , with burial at Summit View Cemetery, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Mr. PARKER was born July 3, 1918 northwest of Edmond to Arthur and Edith PARKER. He died July 30 at his Guthrie home. He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae PARKER, of the home; one daughter, Kathy; son-in-law, Ben and wife, Cindy; two sisters, Peral and Blanche; five grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of firends. Mr. PARKER was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and a nieces.

Funeral services are scheduled for Earl CAMPBELL, 61, of Enid, at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel in Enid with Rev. Tommy Henson officiating. Burial will be at Crescent Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans. Mr. CAMPBELL was born Dec. 24, 1928 in Three Sands, Okla. to Tolbert and Angie (HILTON) CAMPBELL. He died Thursday at Enid Memorial Hospital. He married Carolyn HOLLIDAY March 3, 1948. Mr. CAMPBELL is survived by his wife, of the home; three sons, Ronnie, Rick and Ken; three sisters, Mae , Opal and Artie; one brother, Roy and five grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services for Roy E. PRIESS, 79, of Guthrie will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Summit View Cemetery. Father Henry Roberson will officiate the ceremony under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. He was born July 21, 1911 in Davenport, Oklahoma to Walter and Anna (GROSS) PREISS. He died August 2, 1990 at his home in Guthrie. He is survived by several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and a sister.

Funeral services for Audrey Lorene HANNING, 81, will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Abernathy Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Randy Beeman will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Crescent Cemetery under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home, Crescent. She was born March 7, 1908 in Clay County, Texas, to William LIGGETT and Texas (GODFREY) LIGGETT. She died August 8 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. Mrs. HANNING married Elmer HANNING in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1972. Survivors include a son, Hershel Lee; two sisters, Pauline and Goda; a brother, Weldon; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services for Leo "Buster" R. BERTWELL, 69, of Guthrie, are scheduled at 2 p.m. August 14 at Smith Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gene Hulsey of Oklahoma City officiating. Burial is in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Mr. BERTWELL was born Sept. 5, 1920 in Guthrie to Bertie and Lennie BERTWELL. He died Thursday at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia "Jeannie:"BERTWELL, of the home; one son, Gene; two daughters, Rene and Rochelle; one brother, Bill; two sisters, Norma and Ailene; four grandchildren; many nieces, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Donnie.

Funeral services for former Guthrie resident Vinton Lee JOHNSON were held Tuesday August 14 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Hennessey. Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Cordry and Son. Mr. JOHNSON was born Dec. 6, 1936 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Mr. and Mrs. John and Velma JOHNSON. He died Saturday, August 11, 1990 in Enid. He was married to Patsy JACKS on Dec. 19, 1960. Mr. JOHNSON is survived by his wife, Patsy, of the home; a son, Vinton Lee Jr.; five daughters, Debbie, Patty, Kathy, Teresa and Regina; his mother, Velma; two brothers, Junior, and Donald Ray; three sisters, Anna May, Imogene and Louella, seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Robert and Edward..
Funeral services for Mabel Bell KITE, 81, of Crescent, were held today at the First Christian Church of Crescent. Rev. Randy Beeman and Rev. Mark LeMarr officiated the service. Burial was held at Oakland-Knowles Cemetery, under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home, Crescent . She was born April 7, 1909 in Stillwater, to Franklin and Virginia SMITH. She died August 10 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. She married Fred KITE July 3, 1926 in Perry. He died in 1983. Mrs. KITE is survived by her son, Robert; four daughters, Dora, Billie, Virginia, and Freda; 19 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. In additon to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

Funeral services for Careece Renee McCONNEL, 18, were held Saturday, Aug. 11, 1990 at 3 p.m. in the First Christian Church of Crescent. The Revs. Don Alexander and Randy Beeman officiated. Cremation followed. Arrangements were by Abernathy Funeral Home of Crescent.She was born June 30, 1972 in Oklahoma City to Joseph Edward and Ramona Carole REECE McCONNEL. She died Wednesday, Aug. 8, at her home in Edmond. Surviving are her father, Edward; her mother, Ramona; grandparents, John and Margaret and Maurine; and one sister, Courtney Dyan. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Alfred REECE.

Funeral services were held recently for Guthrian James Alton MASTERS, 69, of Guthrie who died August 11 at Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City. Interment was in Ft Scott, Kansas, National Cemetery. He was born on Nov. 9, 1920 in Virginia. Rev. Dennis Clark officiated the ceremony under the direction of Merrell Funeral Home of Oklahoma City. He is survived by his wife, Ethel, of the home; two daughters, Carol Ann and Judy; a step-son, Jimmy; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Cleo PRICE, 68, formerly of Mulhall, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Perry. Rev. Kevin Devlin will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Victor Cemetery near Mulhall. Mrs. PRICE was born Jan. 4, 1922 near Mulhall and died Aug. 15, 1990 at Perry Memorial Hospital. She married John E. PRICE on April 24, 1943 in Guthrie. He preceded her in death in Feb. 1977. Mrs. PRICE is survived by three sisters, Hazel, Mary Edna, and Augusta; four brothers, Eugene, Arthur and Clyde and Marvin; and a number of nieces and nephews. In additon to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Florence BUSSARD, formerly of Mulhall.
Graveside services for Mike Van HOUTAN, 64 year old Guthrie resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Dr. Dennis Clark will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Memory Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Mr. VanHOUTAN was born to Charles and Vae VanHOUTAN on March 26, 1926 in Guthrie and died August 13, 1990 at his residence. He is survived by a daughter, Lahonda; two brothers, Carl and Jerry; two sisters, Ruby and Ruth; a cousin and his wife, Bill and Becky. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services for William C. "Bill" ARY, 63, were held today at 1 p.m. at Poteeg Funeral Chapel in Pawnee. Rev. Tom Scott officiated the service. Interment was held at Flynn Cemetery, in Cushing, under the direction of Poteeg Funeral Home, in Pawnee. He was born April 28, 1927 in Drumright to Jack H. and Nellie "COOK" ARY. Mr. ARY died August 15 at Colonial Estates Nursing Home in Guthrie. He is survived by one brother, Calvin; and one sister, Dorothy. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Troy and Howard.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Mulhall under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. CRAVEN was born March 13, 1895 in Orlando to J. and Lena DIEHL. She died August 19, 1990 at Coles Resthaven Nursing in Guthrie. She is survived by two sons, Glenn and Diehl, and his wife, Jean; two daughters, Vera and Opal and her husband, Jim; two sisters-in-law, Gladys and Margaret; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William CRAVEN Jr. March 2, 1968; her parents, two brothers, one sister and one grandson.
Funeral services for Herbert (Curly) CUNNINGHAM, 67, of Guthrie, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. John Reasnor will officiate the service and burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. Mr. CUNNINGHAM was born April 3, 1923, in Ada to Felix and Mary (PORTER) CUNNINGHAM. He died August 21, 1990 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. He married Lucille Van HOUTAN on January 11, 1946 in Ada. He is survived by his wife, Lucille, of the home in Guthrie; two sons, Robert James and John William; a brother, L.L.; two sisters Peggy and Vera; 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Funeral services for Hazel Ivy McPEEK, 95, formerly of Crescent, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the First United Methodist Church of Crescent. Pastor David Rowley will officiated the ceremony and burial will be in Victor Cemetery, northeast of Crescent, under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home of Crescent. Mrs. McPEEK was born August 17, 1894 in Downs, Kansas, to George and Rose MESSERLI ROBISON. She died August 16, 1990 in Riverside, California. She married Paul J. McPEEK in Brownsville, Texas, in 1917. He preceded her in death on July 5, 1937. She is survived by a daughter, Betty; a brother, Bill; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. In additon to her husband and parents, Mrs. McPEEK was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and four sisters.

Bob Murray will officiate. Mr. BOST was born to Jacob Henry BOST and Ollie I. Jan. 1, 1905 at Fillmore, Ill. He died August 22 in Memphis. He is survived by one son, Ward E. Jr.; one daughter, Doris B.; one brother, Melvin K.; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ocie M. SHORE Oct. 17, 1987.

He died August 24 at his home in Redfield. He was born December 3, 1964 in Guthrie to Charles and Helen (SHEAFFLER) LONG. He married Connie BILLINGS, August 3, 1987 in Pine Bluff. Mr. LONG is survived by his wife, Connie, of the home in Redfield; his parents, Charles and Helen Long; two brothers, Chad and Trent; a grandmother, Mrs. Helen (Elva Ree); and a grandfather, Karl. Mr. LONG was preceded in death by a grandfather, Paul LONG and a grandmother, Besie SHAEFFLER.
Funeral services for Freda Alice VOGT, 88, of Shawnee, will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Guthrie. Rev. Joe Dan Fowler will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Freda was born April 29, 1902 in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Julius and Augusta KOSANKE. She died August 23, 1990 at Colonial Estates Nursing Home in Shawnee. She is survived by two sons, Calvin and Donald; a daughter, Judy; a brother, Carl; three granddaughters; and five grandsons; two great grandsons; and two great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Oscar B. VOGT in May 1973; two sisters and a brother.

She was born to Luther and Ada (BRISCOE) PROSSER November 3, 1898 in Leon, Okla. She married Brister D. Jones September 11, 1915 in Marietta, Okla. She is survived by one son, Lindel; two daughters, Eunice and Rachel; one brother, Marl; three sisters, Carrie, Florence and Thelma; five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, October 7, 1965, four brothers, two sisters and one great grandchild.
Graveside services for Leonore Rose (Tina) SANCHEZ, 76, will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid. Rev. Raymond L. Hopkins Sr. will officiate the ceremony directed by Davis Funeral Home. She married John Thomas SANCHEZ on June 12, 1934 in Enid. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1968. She is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry and Mae Lucille, Ben and Maggie Lee and Melton; a sister-in-law, Marjorie; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

He died August 27 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center, He is survived by his wife, Ruth, of the home; three sons, George (Joe), Arthur and Steven; two daughters, Mary and Terri; one brother, Tom; two sisters, Katherine and Mary C.; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Funeral services for Nola Sue COURTRIGHT, 51, of Guthrie, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Strode Funeral Chapel, in Stillwater. Richard Poe will officiate the service. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Stillwater, under the direction of Strode Funeral Home, Stillwater. She was born March 22, 1939 in Coyle to Harvey and Elizabeth "EATON" WISE. She died August 26 at Perkins, after a lengthy illness. She married Donald COURTRIHT February 4, 1970 in Stillwater. Mrs. COURTRIGHT is survived by her husband, Donald, of the home; mother, Elizabeth ; two sons, Michael and Justin; two granddaughters, three brothers and four sisters. She was preceded in death by one sister.

Burial will be in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. LORENZEN was born January 25, 1927 in East Logan County to John and Lola Wileman. She died August 27 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. She is survived by her husband, Leo LORENZEN, Guthrie; two sons, Ronnie and wife, Linda, Bill; two stepsons, Darrell and Larry; two daughters, Marlin and husband, Roylee, Patsy; one stepdaughter, Donna; stepmother, Leona; one brother, Roy E. Sr.and wife Jimmie; four aunts, Mathilda, Prudy, Gladys, and Emma; nine grandchildren, two great granddaughters, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and a host of longtime friends.

She died August 30, 1990 at Mercy Health Center, Oklahoma City. She is survived by a son, Ronald; a daughter, Nancy; her mother, Verna; a brother, Charles; a sister, Dorothy; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Delmar CORDES in 1974, and a son.
