Private graveside services will be held for Hazel Dell BOGUE, 91, of Guthrie, at 2 p.m. Monday at Britton Cemetery in Oklahoma City with Rev. John Corbin officiating assisted by Rev. Harold Turner under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. Mrs. BOGUE was born Aug. 13, 1898 in Laura, Ill., to William E. And Ida Mae (HARRIS) WASSON. She died May 29 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. She is survived by two daughters, Mildred E. and Priscilla Jane; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Lena Lula WHITE, 88, of Oklahoma City, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Smith Memorial Chapel, Guthrie. Rev. Shawn Thomas and Rev. Harvey J. Albright will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Lena was born June 11, 1901 in Indianola, Oklahoma Territory, to William and Laura CLARK. She died June 1, 1990 at Four Seasons Nursing Center, Midwest City, Oklahoma. She is survived by a son and his wife, Don and Patricia; a daughter, Clara Ruby; a sister, Mary Frances; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, on August 9, 1976; a son: parents: three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services for Laura KORTRIGHT, 79, of Luther, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Smith Memorial Chapel. Rev. William R. Henry will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Guthrie. Laura was born Sept. 25, 1910 in Kankakee, Illinois, to Gottieb and Laura BOHNENBERGER. She died June 3, 1990 at Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is survived by three sons, Laurence, John and Mark; seven daughters, Catherine, Elaine, Carol, Judith, Ruth, Janice, Nancy; a sister, Lucy; 20 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, in 1974; a granddaughter, three brothers, and six sisters.

Funeral services for Charles W. GIBSON, 79, of Oklahoma City, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Capitol Hill Funeral Home Chapel, in Oklahoma City. Burial will be in the Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Capitol Funeral Home. Mr. GIBSON was born June 30, 1910 at Paden, Okla. to Samuel and Eva GIBSON. He died June 4 in Oklahoma City. He is survived by three sons, LeRoy, Bobby and Kenneth; three daughters, Iva Mae, Frances and Roberta; two brothers, Paul and Garvin; one sister, Talitha; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Mr. GIBSON was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Funeral services for Juanita Sears PULLEN, 71, of Fort Worth, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Mount Olive Funeral Home Chapel, in Fort Worth. Burial will be at Mount Olive Cemetery, also in Fort Worth. Mrs. PULLEN was born in November of 1919 in Fort Worth to Ralph R. and Queenie "GARRETT" SEARS. She died June 5 in Fort Worth. Mrs. PULLEN is survived by her husband Richard, Fort Worth; two sons, John and Richard Jr.; one brother, Robert E.; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; her uncle, Gillem and an aunt Sarah; and many cousins, including Betty, Billy and Walter. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Funeral services for Mary L. COX, 58, of Marshall, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Christian Church of Marshall. Pat Frost will officiate the service, with burial in Crescent Cemetery, under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home. She was born October 23, 1931 in Lexington to Harvey L. and Beulah MAYBERRY. She died June 6 at Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City. She married William M. COX July 30, 1952 in Texas. She is survived by her husband, William M. of the home; mother, Beulah; daughter, Brenda Sue; son, Michael D.; brother, Lindsey; sister, Marie; and seven grandchildren. Mrs. COX was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services for Deborah "Debbie" Jean RETHFORD, of Oklahoma City, were held Monday, June 4 in Resthaven Mortuary Chapel, with interment in Resthaven Memory Gardens. Pastor Frank Cargill, of Capitol Hill Assembly of God church, officiated the service. Debbie was born August 22, 1950 to Donald Jean and Sheila Ann LINDSLEY, formerly of Guthrie. She died June 2, following a short illness, at St. Anthony Hospital, Oklahoma City. She is survived by her husband, John and son, Nichlas, of the home; mother, Sheila Ann and stepfather, Hugh; two brothers, Donald and family, Patrick and family; two stepbrothers, Rick and family, Larry and family; grandmother, Aldine, grandfather and grandmother, Mr. and Mrs. Ray LINDSLEY; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Donald Jean LINDSLEY and grandfather, Orville Bruce LEE.

Funeral services for Shannon James WAHNEE, 6, of Mountain View, Okla. at 2 p.m. Friday in Smith Funeral Chapel, Anadarko. Rev. Kim Mammedaty and Rev. Loren Kerr will officiate the service, with burial at Little Washita Commanche Tribal Cemetery, near Fletcher. Shannon was born April 19, 1984 in Lawton to Blanche WAHNEE and Stuart WAHNEE. He died June 5 at Oklahoma Memorial Hospital, Oklahoma city. She is survived by his parents, Blanche WAHEE and Luther NARCOMEY and Stuart B. WAHNEE and Rhonda Greenough. his sister, Kristy, grandmother, Maggie T. and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather Myers WAHNEE and cousin Robert D. WAHNEE. Wake services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services for Rev. Columbus C. LINDSEY, 81, of Langston, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at I.W. Young Auditorium, Langston. Bishop J.A. Young, prelate of the Oklahoma northwest, will officiate the service. Burial will be at Summit View Cemetery, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home, Guthrie. He was born April 2, 1909, to Albert and Lorena LINDSEY, near Coyle. He married Beauty McLUEAUS. He later married Mary GOODMAN. He died June 6. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Johnnie and Robert; two sisters, Katie DAVIDSON and Susie ABINGTON. He leaves to mourn, his wife, Mary, of the home; one daughter, Clara; one son, C.C. Jr.; four stepdaughters, Essie, Faye, Ella, Mary; one stepson, Rev. John D.; one sister, Almeta; two brothers, Walter and Jimmy; 31 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; his son in the Gospel, Elder Luke; and a host of other relatives, church family and friends. Wake service will be held Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Langston Church of God In Christ.

Graveside funeral services for Earl O. WILEMAN, 87, of Guthrie, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Summit View Cemetery. Rev. Violet Skinner will officiate the services, directed by Smith Funeral Home. Earl was born Feb. 5, 1903 in Goodland, Kansas, to Sherman and Selma WILEMAN. He died June 8, 1990 at Colonial Estates Nursing Home. He is survived by four sisters, Emma, Prudy, Gladys, and Mathilda; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services for Ethel H. ALLEN, 94, of Guthrie, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cimarron Cemetery, Cimarron, Kansas. Rev. Jim Lorensen will officiate the service and burial will be in Cimarron Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Guthrie. Ethel was born on June 18, 1895 in Cimarron, Kansas, to John and Lula HATCH. She died June 9, 1990 in Colonial Estates Nursing Home, Guthrie. She is survived by two sons, Robert L. and Billy J.; a daughter, Pauline; a twin sister, Myrtle H. and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. ALLEN, in October 1970.

Funeral services for Tessie CARROLL, 90, of Guthrie, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Larry Stevens will officiate the service, with burial in Summit View Cemetery, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. She was born October 6, 1899 in Coyle, Payne County, Okla., to Frank and Ellen "BENTLY" BOWEN. She died June 11 at Bellvue Nursing Home, in Oklahoma City. She is survived by her son, Earl; two daughters, Golda and Thelma; brother, Luther; sister, Jessie; nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Mrs. CARROLL was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services for Velma DOWNEY, 74, of Coyle will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Assembly of God Church of Coyle. Rev. Robert Stuart will officiate the services and burial will be in Coyle Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Guthrie. Velma was born on Dec. 16, 1915 in Guthrie to Peter and Mary PRIESS. She died June 10, 1990, at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. She is survived by two sons, Richard and Tommy; three daughters, Rose, Dorothy and Dolly; a brother, Charles; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cecil, in 1979, and a daughter, Mary VICK.

Graveside services for John Winslow HARKINS, 86, of Guthrie, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Resthaven Cemetery, in Oklahoma City, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. Rev. Kent Kellow will officiate the service. He was born Oct. 18, 1903, in McCurtain County, Indian Territory to Baird E. and Helen "MACKIE" HARKINS. Mr. HARKINS died June 9 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Katherine; two sisters, Elizabeth and Mary; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah, of 50 years; and one son, Lt. Col. John D. HARKINS.

Funeral services for Ova Lee BENTLEY, 64, of Coyle, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Assembly of God Church, in Coyle. Rev. R.L. Stuart and Rev. Jim Willis will officiate the service, with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, east of Coyle, under the direction of Strode Funeral Home, of Stillwater. She was born May 8, 1926 at Coyle to Ora Thomas and Amber Stewart BOYCE. She died June 12 at Stillwater Medical Center. She married Carl A. BENTLEY October 16, 1944 in Carlsbad, N.M. She is survived by her husband, Carl, of the home; son, Ricky Lee; daughter, Carla; five grandchildren; two brothers, Olys and Vernon; and a sister, Esther. Mrs. BENTLEY was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Verle.

Funeral services for Mrs. Loletta F. CALLAHAN, 86, will be held at noon at the First Baptist Church on 401 S. Broad. Rev. Hersey Hammons will officiate the service and burial will be in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Pollard Funeral Home Inc., of Guthrie. Loletta was born June 10, 1904 to Jonathan and Inez FINLEY. She died June 7, 1990 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center in Guthrie. She married Thurman CALLAHAN on March 31, 1934. He preceded her in death May 29, 1990. She is survived by one nephew, Frank Arnold; four nieces, Josephine, Sandra, Henri Marge, and Donita; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held for Henry A. HARRINGTON, 62, at 2 p.m. today at Resthaven Cemetery in south Oklahoma City. Mr. HARRINGTON was born March 22, 1928 and married Betty (JOHNSON) Aug. 14, 1949. He died June 11 at Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Elizabeth LeHew "Beth" SHULLER, 81, died Wednesday following a auto accident. She married Dr. E.H. SHULLER Feb. 15, 1986 in Paris, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in McAlester. Rev. Julian Herndon, assisted by William J. "Bill" Edwards will officiate the service. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Paris, Texas. She is survived by her husband, E.H. SHULLER, of the home; one son, Elton Jr., two daughters, Nancy and Cynthia; her brother, O.D.; two sisters, Jane, and Bobbie J.; stepson John; stepdaughter, Genie; stepdaughter-in-law, Marilyn; five grandchildren, one step granddaughter, three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dr. Elton Wilmont LeHEW.

Charles Armstrong will officiate the ceremony and graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Monday at Perry Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, Kansas, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. She was born August 26, 1908 in Elizabeth Port, New Jersey to William and Emily LaBRANCH. She died June 15 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. She married Will Clark Sr. on August 13, 1924. She is survived by three sons, Davis, Ray and Walter; three daughters, Emily, Evelina and Eva Mae; 32 grandchildren and a number of great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1966; two sons, Edward James and William CLARK Jr.; a daughter, Mary Ellen SHIPMAN; her parents, one brother and one sister.

Funeral services for former Cashion resident Mrs. Motie (STONER) TRENT, 85, of Dewey will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Dewey United Methodist Church. Rev. John Diller and two of her nephews, Rev. John Hancock and Brother Pete Herod, will officiate the ceremony and burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Cashion Cemetery under the direction of Neekamp Funeral Home in Bartlesville. She was born near Cashion on Sept. 5, 1904 to William and Jennie STONER. She married Haskell TRENT on Dec. 24, 1937 in Guthrie.

Funeral services are scheduled for H. Wayne FORD, 76, of Guthrie, at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Camp officiating. Burial will take place at Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. Mr. FORD was born Jan. 4, 1914 in Marshall to Alonzo and Minnie B. (DISHMAN) FORD. He died June 17 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. He married Captola BUCKLEY Nov. 24, 1938 in Guthrie. He is survived by his wife of the home; two daughters, Darlene and Connie; one brother, Doyle J.; two sisters, Mabel and Gernabelle; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mr. FORD was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Graveside funeral services for Viola Belle PERSING, 99, of Chandler, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Clarkson Cemetery north of Coyle. Rev. Charles Pickle will officiate and burial will be in Clarkson Cemetery under the direction of Curry-Paras Funeral Home of Chandler. She was born Nov. 29, 1890 in Kansas, the daughter of George Henderson and Ollie Belle CLARK. She died June 18, in Chandler Nursing Home. She married James Elmer PERSING on Dec. 22, 1907. He preceded her in death in 1926. She is survived locally by two sisters, Marie and Nona. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a daughter, a sister and a brother.

Funeral services for Eva "SURRITTE" CHILDS, 71, of Morrison, were held today at 2 p.m. at Poteet Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chris Carr officiating. She was buried at A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy, under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, in Pawnee. Mrs. CHILDS was born Nov. 3, 1918 in West Plains, Mo. to George W. SURRITTE and Virginia D. CALLAHAN. She died June 20 in Pawnee. She married Harry CHILDS April 4, 1951 in Claremore. Mrs. CHILDS is survived by her husband, Harry, of the home; three daughters, Thelma, Virginia "Jean", and Patsy; three sons, Charles, Paige, and Roland; four sisters, Ruby, Hazel and Ruth "Dolly", Alyne; two brothers, George "Bud" and Leon "Sonny"; 20 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends. Mrs. CHILDS was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Gail, Bruce and Herbert SURRITTE; a daughter, Julia Rose LeCLAIR and a grandson, Dean McCARTY

Mr. HARRIS was born Oct. 13, 1900 in Fort Worth, Texas to William and Dorca (BENTLEY) HARRIS Sr. He died June 22 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. He is survived by one son, William Martin; two step sons, Joseph and John; one step daughter, Aubrey (Mary Katherine); three grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a number of step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Clara HARRIS Feb. 16, 1983.

Funeral services for former Guthrian, Evelyn Irene HARTZELL, 80, of Midwest City, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Smith Memorial Chapel. Rev. C.N. Thompson will officiate the service, with burial at Cashion Cemetery, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. She was born December 19, 1909 in Whittier, Calif., to Baldwin and Myrtle KROBER. She died June 21 at Midwest City Regional Hospital. She is survived by three sons, Wayne T., Curtis L., and Leon; three daughters, Joyce, Ruth and Bonnie; three sisters, Beulah, Avena and Juanita; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Mrs. HARTZELL was preceded in death by her husband, Roy V. HARTZELL in 1980.

Funeral services are scheduled for Marie HENKE, 87, formerly of Orlando at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Christ Lutheran Church in Perry with Rev. Fred Schumacher and Rev. Myron Maltz. She will be buried at Gracehill Cemetery in Perry under the direction of Brown Funeral Home. Mrs. HENKE was born Sept. 8, 1902 in Orlando to Charles and Alice WEBER. She died Friday at Canterbury Health Center in Oklahoma City. She married Emil HENKE May 4, 1924. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Annabel and John; two daughters Esther Mae and Alice; one sister, Allie; two sisters-in-law, Hazel and Pauline; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one daughter.

Funeral services for David Henry SCHEIHING, Jr., 90, of Guthrie, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Smith Memorial Chapel, Guthrie. Rev. Jim Egly will officiate the service, with burial in Summit View Cemetery, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. He was born on December 28, 1899 in Riverdale, Neb. to David and Margaret SCHEIHING, Sr. He died June 22 at Guthrie Retirement and Care Center. He married Elsa SEVERIN April 28, 1921 in Guthrie. He is survived by his wife, Elsa, of the home in Guthrie; two sons, Home and Ralph; one daughter, Elsa; four sisters, Martha, Pauline, Margaret and Mary; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Mr. SCHEIHING was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services for Mary E. HAWTHORN, 77, of Guthrie, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Davis Funeral Chapel, with Frank Childs officiating. Burial will be at Rosenwald Cemetery, in Guthrie, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. She was born in Chandler August 28, 1912 and died June 24 at Coles Rest Haven nursing home. She married Thurston HAWTHORN November 25, 1932 in Guthrie. She is survived by six nieces, including Erma Lee, Ethel M. and Naomi and two nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Funeral services for Norma M. HOTSON, 87, of Marshall were held today at the First Christian Church of Marshall. Pat Frost officiated the ceremony and burial was in Covington Cemetery, Covington, Oklahoma under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home, Crescent. She was born Jan. 26, 1903 in No Man's Land, Oklahoma, to Adnah and Nettie Bixler EATON. She died June 23 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. She married James HOTSON on May 23, 1925 in Enid. He preceded her in death in December 1976. Survivors include a son David HOTSON, Plainfield, Ind.; daughters, Lois, Janet, Flossie, Willa; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Graveside services were held today for former Guthrian, Roy CANNING, of Ft. Gibson, at Fairlawn Cemetery, in Stillwater, under the direction of Revis Funeral Home. He was born July 8, 1902 in Guthrie to George and Murtice CANNING. He died June 24 at Muskogee Regional Hospital, in Muskogee. He married Marguerite HUMPHREY April 12, 1926 in Perry. She preceded him in death November 13, 1969. He is survived by one brother, Oliver, son, Neil; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Mr. CANNING was preceded in death by four brothers, Alva CANNING, Claud CANNING, Clarence CANNING, Clyde CANNING; and one sister, Viola WILSON.

Graveside services for Betty Marie WALTON DRUM, 64, of Guthrie, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Summit View Cemetery. Rev. Bob Walker will officiate the burial, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Guthrie. She was born September 9, 1925 in Guthrie, to Jessie and Iva WALTON. She died June 25 at Mercy Health Center, in Oklahoma City. She is survived by her husband, Eugene DRUM, of Guthrie; and a host of friends. Mrs. DRUM was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services for Juanita McGUIRE LLOYD of Midland, Texas were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 1990 at Oakland Knowles Cemetery, Boyd Endecott officiated. Mrs. LLOYD was born Jan. 26, 1929 at Crescent the daughter of Guy and Veta Endecott McGUIRE. She died June 13, 1990. She is survived by her husband, Leon LLOYD, Midland, Texas; three children, James, Rex and Jana; her mother, Veta; three sisters, Georgia, Zola Mae and Alta Mae; one brother, Ted; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Guy McGURIE, and a grandson Brandon LLOYD.
