Private graveside services for Howard H. TAYLOR Jr., 67, of Mulhall, will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in Roselawn Cemetery, Mulhall. Rev. Marvin Hall will officiate the services. Mr. TAYLOR died Monday at his residence in Mulhall. He was born December 10, 1923 to Howard and Dorothy TAYLOR of Mulhall. He is survived by two brothers, Harold, and Ted; a sister, Doris. Arrangements are by Smith Funeral Home, Guthrie.

Funeral services for Emanuel DECKER, 73, will be held at Pollard Funeral Home, 2626 North Post Road in Oklahoma City, Friday at 11 a.m. elder Johnny Nubine officiating. Burial will be at Trice Hill Cemetery under the direction of Pollard Funeral Home. Decker was born Dec. 16, 1916 to Marshal and Kissie DECKER in Langston. He is survived by daughter, Beverly; a son; two brothers, E.W. and Sammuel; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Manuel H. GRAYSON, 76, of Crescent, are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. July 7 at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home, Crescent. Mr. GRAYSON was born to James and Della (WELLBORN) GRAYSON March 31, 1914 in Clarksville, Texas. He died July 4 in Cimarron, N.M. He married Loretta GRAY July 24, 1969 in Brookshire, Texas. He is survived by his wife of the home; one daughter, Judith; one brother, David; four sisters, Clemie, Wilma, Christine and Dovie; one granddaughter, one stepson Jim; and three stepchildren.

Funeral services for Winfred Donald HALL, formerly of Langston, will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church of Langston. Rev. Richard Kennard will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Beulah Land Cemetery in Langston under the direction of Pollard Funeral Home, Guthrie. He was born Feb. 4, 1940 in Langston to Eda and Jewell HALL. He died July 5 at the VA Hospital in Danfield, Illinois. Survivors include his parents, Ed and Jewel HALL; three sons, Clarence, Donald and Steve; one granddaughter; two brothers, Gene and Richard; a sister, Jacqueline; and many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie COX, 87, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, 401 S. Broad. Rev. Hersey Hammns, pastor, will officiate the service, with burial following at Summit View Cemetery, under the direction of Pollard Funeral Home, Guthrie. Mrs. COX was born July 28, 1903, in Guthrie to Leroy and Anne C. GREEN. She died July 7. Mrs. COX is survived by one brother, Leroy Jr. and wife Juanita; a sister-in-law, Dorothy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services for former Guthrian, Eugene "Gene" LOWE, 69, of Perry, will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Brown Funeral Chapel, Perry. Rev. Lynn Scott will officiate the service, with burial at Gracehill Cemetery, under the direction of Brown Funeral Home, Perry. He was born July 28, 1920 in Guthrie to William and Alzina LOWE. He died July 7 at his home in Perry. He married Ruth FOLGER October 17, 1963. She died in March 1989. Mr. LOWE is survived by two sisters, Dorothy and Mrs. Harold; one stepson, Foy; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, W.L. LOWE, and one sister, Lucille WHITE.

Funeral services for Edna HOWARD-REED, 90, of Guthrie will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Davis Funeral Home, James K. Egly officiating. Burial will be at Cashion Cemetery, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. She was born March 1, 1899 in Morrow, Ark. to William L. and Lovetta "EDMONSTON" HOWARD. Mrs. Reed died July 9 at Golden Age Nursing Home. She married James Elmer REED January 27, 1918 in Morrow, Ark. She is survived by one son L.B.; two daughters, Jetta, Mildred; one brother, Lawrence; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Mrs. REED was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and one great granddaughter.

Funeral services for Mildred C. HABBEN, 77, of Luther, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Luther. Rev. Kevin McSpadden will officiate the service, with burial at Luther Cemetery, under the direction of Baggerly Funeral Home, of Edmond. She was born April 18, 1913 in Oklahoma City, to Christian and Aurellia "LACEY" LUSHBOUGH. She died July 9 in Edmond. She was married to William Henry HABBEN, who preceded her in death. Mrs. HABBEN is survived by her son, Clyde "Bud"; daughter, Wilda; four grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Jimmie L. STEPHENSON, 63, of Twin Lakes, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Oakland-Knowles Cemetery. Pastor David Rowley will officiate the service, under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home, of Crescent. He was born August 1, 1926 in Marshall, Ark. to Jimmie G. and Opal STEPHENSON. He died July 10 at Mercy Health Center, in Oklahoma City. He married Ruth HALL November 1, 1963 in Albuquerque, N.M. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie G. STEPHENSON; daughter, Kathy; three brothers, Robert, Clay and Paul; one sister, Louise; and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held for Wilbur D. FUDGE, 74, Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hahn-Cook Funeral Home on 60th and Western in Oklahoma City with Charles Woltz officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Hahn-Cook Funeral Home. FUDGE was born December 26, 1916 to Alberta and Bernard FUDGE and died Thursday at Chickasha Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Ester May FUDGE, of the home in Meridian; daughter Peggy; three step sons, Jerry, Kelly and Larry; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. FUDGE was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bob FUDGE.

Don Gatlin will officiate the service, with burial at Summit View Cemetery, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Guthrie. She was born August 28, 1912, in Galveston, Texas to Greer and Sally SMITH. She died July 12 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. She is survived by her husband, A.D., of the home; son, Albert; and stepdaughter, Lee; two sisters, Mattle and Retha; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Mrs. MAUK was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

Funeral services for Alvie E. GOOCH, 67, of Montgomery, Texas, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Conroe Community Church in Conroe, Texas with Rev. Jack Trend officiating. Burial will be held at Warda Cemetery, under the direction of Trend. Mr. GOOCH was born October 28, 1922 in Logan County to Opal C. and Harvey Edgar GOOCH. He died at his home in Montgomery July 17. GOOCH married Pearl POWELL May 25, 1942 in Oklahoma City. He is survived by his wife, Pearl, of the home; his mother, Opal C. GOOCH; son, Maj. Gary; daughter Genene; brother, Wayne and three grandchildren. Mr. GOOCH was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services for Marion "Sam" DETWILER, 53, Albuquerque, N.M., will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Mulhall Christian Church with Bryce Fox officiating. Burial services will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Mulhall, Davis Funeral Home officiating. DETWILER was born Feb. 5, 1937 to Vernon and Elizabeth (DONALDSON) DETWILER. He died July 18, 1990 at the home in Albuquerque, N.M., after a long bout with cancer. He married Alice Eleanor HARRIS, Dec. 8, 1962. He is survived by his wife, Alice, of the home in Albuquerque; six children, Steve, Donna and her husband Jeff, Juan, Mariah, Jarred, and Matthew; one grandson; parents Vernon and Elizabeth; three brothers, Donald and his wife, Peggy, Paul and wife, Ann, and Ned; sister Mary Ellen and husband, Dewayne; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Helen J. DUNN, 66, Guthrie, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Summit View Cemetery. Dr. Dennis Clark will officiate the ceremony and burial will be directed by Smith Funeral Home, Guthrie. Mrs. DUNN was born June 28, 1924 in Eads, Colorado, to Oscar and Ruby FISCHER. She died at Logan County Hospital and Medical Center July 18, 1990. Mrs. DUNN is survived by her husband, Quinton, of Guthrie; three sons, Phil S., George H. Jr., and Jerry L.; daughter Linda R.; step-daughter Dee Ann; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Paula Beatrice HEIDEN, 80, Guthrie, will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Smith Memorial Chapel, Rev. Alden Hickman of Perry officiating. Burial services will be held at Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. HEIDEN was born Nov. 29, 1909 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Leslie and Myrtle TAYLOR. She died July 18 at Colonial Estates Nursing Home. She is survived by her husband, Earl, of Guthrie; stepson Earl Albert and his wife, Vonda Lee; three brothers, Paul Hardy, Robert Eugene, Wendell D.; two sisters Geneva Lee and Betty Lou; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Heiden is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held for Wilbur P. BASS, 76, of Guthrie, at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Seward Road Baptist Church with Rev. Rex Haymaker officiating. Burial will be in Seward Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Mr. BASS was born May 11, 1914to Albert and Cora BASS in Navina, Okla. He died Thursday at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. He is survived by his wife, Mae, of the home; three sons, Vernon W., Evert F., Allen M.; a daughter, Sandra; three brothers, Maurice M., Glen A., Clyde L.; 11 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Graveside services for former Crescent resident, Cloyce William RYLAND, 72, of Baptiste Lake Alberta, Canada, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Crescent Cemetery, under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home, of Crescent. Rev. Randy Beeman will officiate the service, with Masonic graveside rites given by the Crescent Masonic Lodge 64 AF and AM. He was born July 15, 1918 in Kingfisher County to Orel C. and Zola Mae NARIN RYLAND. He died July 23 in Edmonton Alberta, Canada. Mr. RYLAND married Mary LOVELACE October 12, 1939 in Guthrie. He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; three sons Cloyce, Jr. and his wife Faye, Marvin and his wife Elena, Ronald and his wife Kathy; two brothers, Wallace, and Merle; two sisters, Joy, and Joan; sister-in-law, Maxine; two grandchildren; Mr. RYLAND was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert.

Funeral services for former Logan County resident, Queen E. BRYANT HUGHES, 66, of Wichita, Kan. Will be held at 1 p.m Friday at Calvary Baptist Church, in Wichita. She was born near Meridian to George and Katie BRYANT and died July 20 in Wichita. Survivors include four sisters, Willie, Audrey, Christine, and Mattie; and numerous cousins, including John, Edna and June. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Cecil BRYANT and Thelma BRYANT, and two sisters, Roberta BRYANT and Alice Jean BRYANT.

Graveside services for Richard Raymond ROBERTSON, 70, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Summit View Cemetery, under the direction of Pollard Funeral Home Inc., Guthrie. Rev. Henry H. Hammons will officiate the service. He was born November 25, 1919 in McAlester to Henry and Pauline ROBERTSON. He died July 23 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. He is survived by one son, Richard Rondale Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Debra; one sister, Kurlie; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Cora Corene BONNER, 86, of Guthrie will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Olive Friendship Baptist Church. Rev. Ray Peters will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. BONNER was born on Sept. 20, 1903 in Fort Deposit, Alabama, to Felix and Mary BRAGGS. She died July 25, 1990 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. She is survived by four sons, Haywood, Willie, Levi and Leroy; three daughters, Yvonne, Delois and Wanda; three brothers, Mayo, Leroy and Namon; two sisters, Mayola and Violetta; 38 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 20 great great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Mrs. BONNER was preceded in death by her husband John BONNER Sr., in 1958, a son and her parents.

Funeral services for George Edgar BOSTWICK, 79, of Guthrie will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Davis Funeral Chapel. Rev. Larry Steven officiating. Burial will be at Summit View Cemetery, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. He was born February 15, 1911 to Oscar K. and Bessie Mae "POSTEN" BOSTWICK. Mr. BOSTWICK died July 27 at Lackey Nursing Home in Oklahoma City. He married Anna Lou BROACH January 13, 1944 in Blake Village, Ark. She died October 17, 1973. Mr. BOSTWICK is survived by three daughters Lin J., Dolly M., and Marilyn; son-in-law, James; sister, Jessie; four grandsons, two granddaughters and five great granddaughters. Along with his wife, Mr. BOSTWICK was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Marsha Lou ECHOLS, five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services for Walter C. COLEMAN Jr., 81, Guthrie, will be held July 30 at 1:30 in the Antioch Baptist Church at Seward with Reverend Wesley C. Ellis officiating. Interment will be in Seward Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. COLEMAN died Friday at Logan County Hospital and Medical Center. COLEMAN was born Nov. 11, 1908 in southwest Guthrie. He married Fannie RUFFIN who preceded him in death. He is survived by one daughter, Joy and husband, Harold; granddaughter; two sisters Jessie and Allie Mae; two sisters-in-law, Alma and Gladys; nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services for Beulah Florence WELCH, 85, of Guthrie will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Smith Memorial Chapel. Rev. Don Gatlin will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. WELCH was born Oct. 6, 1904 in Dover, Arkansas, the daughter of Thomas and Emma HOTTINGER. She died July 27, 1990 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. She is survived by two sons, Paul and his wife, Mary Lou, and George and his wife, Sue; a daughter, Shirley and her husband, Les; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mrs. WELCH was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Frank WELCH in October 1974; two sons, her parents, four brothers and a sister.

Funeral services for Dr. Robert James HOGUE Jr., 54, of Guthrie, are scheduled at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, in Oklahoma City, under the direction of Smith and Kernke Funeral Home. Mr. HOGUE died Thursday.
