Funeral services for Maidene Mildred JENNINGS, 64, of Meridian, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Church of God Chapel, Guthrie. Brother Carl Shaffer will officiate the service and burial will be Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. JENNINGS was born April 24, 1925 in Oklahoma City to Earnest and Martha MARTIE. She died March 29, 1990 in Meridian at her home. Survivors include her husband, Clyde, of the home; three daughters, Lois, Linda and Gail; three sisters, Lavonne, Emily and Reba; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two daughters, JoAnne JENNINGS, in 1971, and April BREDSTRAND, in 1984.

Memorial services for Bernice Lee HARRIS, 90, of Guthrie, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Guthrie Christian Church. Rev. Gene Warfel will officiate. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Farmington, Cemetery, Farmington, Arkansas, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Bernice was born Dec. 28, 1899 in Kismet, Kansas to Orville and Lizzie WISEMAN. She died April 1, 1990 in Guthrie Retirement and Care Center. She is survived by a daughter, Leota; a brother, Bryce; five grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in October 1961; her parents, two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services for Earnest (Jack) BECK, 60, of Stillwater will be held in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Stillwater at 1 p.m. Saturday. He was born May 5, 1929 and died March 29 in Cushing. Elder Millard Jones will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Reavis Funeral Home, Stillwater.

Funeral services are pending today at Davis Funeral Home for Burnett HAWKINS, 81, of Guthrie. Mr. HAWKINS died April 4, 1990 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. He was born March 25, 1909 near Langston to John and Beaula (MACK) HAWKINS. He married Evelyn BUFORD in Crescent in 1933. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn, of Guthrie; a daughter, Maxine; a son Sherman; a brother, Thelma; 10 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Mr. HAWKINS was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services for Dovie Arminta ROLAND were held March 20 at Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Chapel, in Amarillo, Texas, with Brother Al Norris officiating the service. Graveside services were held at Fairview Cemetery, in Shawnee, with Brother Merrill Smith officiating. Mrs. ROLAND was born June 18, 1909, near Beaver, to John W. And Sadie Rae "GOING" WILSON. She died March 16 at the hospice unit of St. Anthony Hospital, in Amarillo. She married Jay D. ROLAND June 22, 1947. Mrs. ROLAND is survived by her husband, Jay; sister, Ruby Fern; aunt, Lucy; and several nieces, nephews, many cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Burnett HAWKINS, 81, of Guthrie will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Broad and Springer, with Rev. Hersey Hammons officiate. Burial will be in Memory Garden under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. Mr. HAWKINS died April 4, 1990 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. Funeral services for Floyd E. JENKINS, 61, of Choctaw will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bill Eisenhower Funeral Home Northeast, in Midwest City. Mr. JENKINS was born December 8, 1928. He died April 4, at his home in Choctaw. Mr. JENKINS is survived by his wife, Florerice, of the home, in Choctaw; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Jerry, Sharon and Allen, and Pam and Rick; one son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Vicki; two sisters, Florence and Margaret; two brothers, James and Bill; 11 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. JENKINS was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Mrs. MOON is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Bill; special friend, Mrs. J.J.; other relatives and friends. Her parents and a sister preceded her in death.

Graveside services for Marvin BOCOX, 85, of Perry, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Hill Cemetery, at Perry. Rev. Lynn Scott will officiate the service, under the direction of Brown Funeral Home. Mr. BOCOX was born November 13, 1904, in Mulhall, to Charlie and Carolyn Elizabeth BOCOX. He died April 8, at Perry Memorial Hospital. He married Imogene WHEATLEY January 18, 1950. He is survived by his wife, Imogene, of the home; daughter, Pat; son, Glen; sister, Lillie; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. BOCOX was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services for Wilma Faye Moore CAROLINA, 52, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Antioch Baptist Church, 507 N. Bath, in Oklahoma City. Rev. F. Waters will officiate, with burial at Trice Cemetery, in Oklahoma City, under the direction of Temple Funeral Home, in Oklahoma City. Mrs. CAROLINA was born August 15, 1937. She died April 6 at St. Anthony's Hospital, in Oklahoma City. She married Albert Morris CAROLINA in 1956. Mrs. CAROLINA is survived by her husband, Albert, of the home; two daughters, Connie Fay and Deanna; son Albert III; her parents, Thurston MOORE and Moena MOORE; three aunts, four uncles and a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Clara FINNELL, 87, of Orlando, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Orlando Christian Church. Rev. Tim Johnson will officiate the service, with burial at Grace Hill Cemetery, in Perry, under the direction of Brown Funeral Home, of Perry. Mrs. FINNELL was born March 16, 1903, west of Orlando, to William and Helen Marie "BOLZINGER' GLOCKER. She died April 9 at Westhaven Nursing Home, in Stillwater.  She married John FINNELL March 6, 1925. He died February 18, 1988. She is survived by her son, Wilbur; daughter, Mrs. Loren "Dorothy"; two sisters, Mrs. Earl "Lydia", and Mrs. Oscar "Helen"; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Graveside services for former Guthrian, Ruby E. HARBIN, 81, of Edmond, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Summit View Cemetery, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home with Dr. Dennis Clark officiating. Mrs. HARBIN was born November 18, 1908 in Kansas to Charles E. And Minnie "DYE" STEWART. She died April 9 at Edmond Memorial Hospital, in Edmond. She is survived by her son, Victor L.; two sisters, Zelma and Hazel; two grandchildren, Dale and Glen R.; and six great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held for Clifford (Cliff) B. JORDAN, 81, of Guthrie at 2 p.m April 12 at the south I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Marshall under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home in Crescent. Mr. JORDAN was born to Manuel and Rachel BENNETT JORDAN March 16, 1909 east of Marshall. He died April 9 at Cole's Rest Haven in Guthrie. He is survived by one sister Fern; four nephews and three nieces. Mr. JORDAN was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers.

Funeral services for Dennis PERRIGAN, 33, of Guthrie, were held at 2 p.m. today at Davis Funeral Chapel. Rev. LeDon McAnally officiated the service. Burial was at Clarkson Cemetery, in Coyle, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. He died April 6 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. He was born Dec. 8, 1956 in Stillwater. He is survived by a daughter, Peggy Sue; mother and stepfather, Lena and Leo SMITH; two brothers, Freddie and Karl; a sister, Mary; two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a brother, Denny TOWNSEND.

Funeral services for Louis RIST, 83, of Lucien will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Luciene United Methodist Church. Dr. Eldon Moelling and Rev. Darrell Osborn will officiate the service, with burial at McGuire Cemetery, in Lucien, under the direction of Brown Funeral Home. Mr. RIST was born April 9, 1907 in Luciene, to John and Lena "FOSTER" RIST. He died April 8 at his home in Lucien. He married Bertha ZONDLER October 21, 1936 in Orlando. He is survived by his wife, Bertha, of the home; daughter, Mrs. Monty Virginia; brother, Otto; two grandsons, Marty and Ricky. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charlie.

Graveside services for Lena RYAN, 85, of Fort Worth, Texas, were held at 3 p.m. Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Edmond, under the direction of Greenwood Funeral Home, of Fort Worth. Mrs. RYAN was born July 16, 1904 in Guthrie, to Ab W. and Lillie Helf RICKSTREW. She died April 8 at Westside Care Center, in Fort Worth. Mrs. RYAN is survived by two daughters, Peggy and Bobbie; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Date for a memorial service will be announced at a later time.

Cathee Lynn BAKER, 20, was killed instantly in an automobile accident in Tallahassie, Florida on April 9, 1990. She was born April 1, 1970 in Tulsa. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. EDWARDS; and Mr. and Mrs. Rodger BAKER,; maternal grandmother Mrs. Jessie WELCH; and a sister, Andrea Gayle. Services will be held Friday in Tulsa under the direction of Moore Funeral Home, 19th and Memorial. The ceremony begins at 2 p.m.

Graveside services for William Benidict COX, 87, of Guthrie, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chapel Hill Cemetery, in Oklahoma City, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home, of Guthrie. Father Henry Roberson will officiate the service. Mr. COX was born September 18, 1902 in Ponca City, to John Albert and Mary "FERRELL" COX. He died April 10 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, William and Sally; sister, Margaret; and two grandchildren. Mr. COX was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers and two sisters.

Pat HONEYCUTT, a Guthrie woman died April 6 at her sister's home near Kansas City. HONEYCUTT, 57, was born July 15, 1932 in Missouri. Survivors include a brother, Frank; a sister, Suzann (Sue); and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian burial for Thomas (Tom) Melvin MILLER, 58, of Guthrie will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Father Henry Roberson will officiate the service and burial will be in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. Mr. MILLER was born March 21, 1932 in Guthrie to Garrett and Mary (GEISSRAGEN) MILLER and died April 13 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. He married Jane PHILLIPS on May 27, 1954 in Guthrie. He is survived by his wife, Jane, of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Rick and Jane; Terry and Debbie, and Gary; two daughters, Tresa and Tina; a brother, Bill; three half-brothers, Lawrence, Gene and Francis; a sister, Mrs. Clyde (Barbara) Ellen; a half-sister, Margarita; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and two brothers.

Funeral services for Frederick Lewis BLACKMAN, 70, of Guthrie, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Little Chapel of the Roses, in Oklahoma City. Rev. Willie Bookout officiated the service, with interment at Resthaven Memory Garden, in Oklahoma City, under the direction of Capitol Hill Funeral Home. Mr. BLACKMAN was born February 29, 1920, in Ulysses, Pa., to Arthur and Bertha E. BLACKMAN. He died April 12 at Veterans Administration Hospital in Oklahoma City. Mr. BLACKMAN is survived by his wife, Nina, of the home; son, Raymond; daughter, Pam; step-daughter, Debbie; and sister, Ruth.

Mrs. HARRIS will be buried at Fair Haven Memorial Park in Santa Ana, Calif. under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. Mrs. HARRIS was born June 10, 1885 at Grand Haven, Mich. and died Sunday at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. She married Elmer LeRoy HARRIS June 1, 1930. Mrs. HARRIS is survived by two stepsons Lawrence and Richard; one step-daughter, Fern; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband March 24, 1955 and her parents.

Graveside services for Sarah Elizabeth NELSON, 86, of Guthrie, will be Monday at 3 p.m. in Alex Cemetery, Alex, Oklahoma, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. Mrs. NELSON was born March 17, 1904 in Lindsey, Oklahoma, to Isac and Sarah (RUTHERFORD) SMITH. She died April 19, 1990 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. She married Gary NELSON in 1944 in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death. She is survived by three sons, Jessie Allen, John L., and Billy William; three daughters, Dorothy, Mrs. Paul (Getty), and Betty; 32 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, and 16 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters and three sons.

Funeral services for John William "Bill" SILVERS, 91, of Mulhall are slated for 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Strode Funeral Chapel, Stillwater. Rev. Leroy Samuels will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Clarkson Cemetery under the direction of Strode Funeral Home. Mr. SILVERS died April 19, in the home of his son east of Mulhall. He was born in Scotland County, Missouri in September 1898 to William and Sarah (STITTSWORTH) SILVERS. He married Elva Elizabeth ANDREWS on August 12, 1922. He is survived by his wife of the home; a daughter, Darlene and her husband, Max; three sons, Raymond and Alice, Bob and Mary, and Glenn and Phyllis; 13 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, a brother and a great grandson.

Funeral services for Joe W. BAILEY, 83, of Crescent were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Abernathy Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. C. Fred Williams officiated the ceremony and burial was in Crescent Cemetery under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home. He was born July 30, 1906 in Tyrola, Indian Territory, to Jesse and Dora TURNER BAILEY. He died April 19 at St. Mary's Hospital in Enid. He was married Nov. 20, 1982 to Louise E. SMITH. He is survived by his wife, Louise, a nephew, and five nieces. He was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services for Ella Evelyn CLINE, 81, of Marshal, were held at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church of Marshal. Rev. Tom Donaldson officiated the ceremony and burial was in North IOOF Cemetery, Marshal, under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home of Crescent. She died April 22, 1990 at her home north of Marshal. She was born Oct. 28, 1908 in Coldwater, Kansas to Jim and Jessie Tine BEST DARBY. She married Shirell CLINE on July 31, 1926 in Enid. She is survived by her husband, Shirell, of the home; a son, Boyd, three sisters, Shirellene, Barbara and Beverly; three brothers, Oliver, Harold and Hugh; 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters.

Funeral services for Ethel Mae INSKEEP, 83, of Guthrie were held at 2 p.m. today at Smith Memorial Chapel, in Guthrie. Rev. Melvin Pickering officiated the service with burial at Crescent Cemetery, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. She was born August 18, 1906, in Crescent, to Marshal and Ida CUSTARD. Mrs. INSKEEP died April 21 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, J.C. and Barbara; two daughters, Doris and Charlotte, and husband, Arthur; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Mrs. INSKEEP was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, July 17, 1985, parents, two brothers and one great grandson.

An Edmond man died after being struck by lightning in south Logan County Sunday evening according to Logan County Sheriff's Office. Michael Ray LESLIE, 29, was hit as he and others walked across a field.

Funeral services for F.O. BROWN, 92, of Crescent are set at 2:30 p.m. April 29 at First United Methodist Church in Crescent with Pastor James Herider officiating. Burial will be at Crescent Cemetery under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home. Mr. BROWN was born May 5, 1897 to Frank and Della RINGGOLD BROWN. He married Ada SANDERSON Feb. 2, 1918 in Crescent and died April 26 at his home in rural Crescent. He is survived by his wife of the home, four daughters, Juanita, Frances, Florence, Margaret; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Mr. BROWN was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two son-in-laws and twin granddaughters.

Graveside funeral services for David Ray ROSE, 25, of Guthrie, will be held Monday, April 30, at 2 p.m. at Knowles Cemetery in Crescent with the Rev. Marvin M. Polson officiating. Burial will be directed by Davis Funeral Home. David was born January 17, 1965 in Oklahoma City. He was the son of Max and June Etta (KOUTS) ROSE. He died April 21 as a result of an accident drowning. ROSE is survived by his mother June Etta ROSE; his father, Max ROSE; a grandmother Myrtle; and a number of aunts and uncles.

Graveside funeral services for Bunk TAYLOR, 85, of Guthrie, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 30 at the Marrs Hill Cemetery, Tecumseh, Okla., with Rev. John Coker officiating. Burial will be directed by Smith Funeral home. Mr. TAYLOR was born August 31, 1904, in Oenaville, Texas, to Alex and Julia TAYLOR. He died April 25 at Guthrie Retirement and Care Center. He is survived by three sons, Ruben, Robert and Alex; one daughter, Marylan; one brother, Claude, and two sisters, Martha and Oleo; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, in 1979 and 7 brothers and sisters and one son in 1989.

Funeral services for Debra Kay WALLACE, 32, of Guthrie, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Smith Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Walker officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Guthrie, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Debra was born on September 15, 1957 in Ft. Riley, Kansas, to Harry and Ida. SHOVESTULL and she died April 27, 1990 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. She is survived by her husband, Tony; a daughter, Jennifer Rose; her mother, Ida; one brother, Harry R. "Buddy" Jr.: two sisters, Sandy and Renee; and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Edna. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry R. SHOVESTULL Sr.; paternal grandparents Alex and Helen SHOVESTULL, and maternal grandfather, Harry HAY.
