Funeral services for George L. McCANN, 78, will be held Saturday, March 3, 1990 at 11 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Guthrie. Rev. Charles N. Ryser will officiate and burial will be in Parkland Cemetery, Lincoln County, directed by Smith Funeral Home. Mr. McCANN died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 1990, at his residence in Guthrie after a short illness. Mr. McCANN was born Nov. 30, 1911, at Kansas City, Missouri, to Turman and Lurena (ORR) LOCKHART. His mother later married Ernest McCANN , who raised George as a son. George married Evelyn MILLER in Guthrie, Dec. 31, 1938. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn, of the home; two daughters and their husbands, Karen and Joseph, Carol and Robert; two sons, Clifton and his wife, Marcia, and Scott; a sister, Katherine; four grandchildren. Mr. McCANN was preceded in death by a son Brent LOCKHART McCANN.

Graveside services for Maude Catherine HAZELWOOD, 70, of Guthrie, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Summit View Cemetery, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. Rev. Joe Dan Fowler will officiate. Miss HAZELWOOD was born June 21, 1919, in Kingfisher, to Eugene and Frances "GARROTT" HAZELWOOD. She died March 1 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. Miss HAZELWOOD is survived by her brother, John; seven sisters, Ruby, Grace, Nell, Margaret, Bette, Georgia, and Evelyn. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Funeral services were held for Dorothy Irene JONES, Monday in Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel, in Del City. Commital services were also held Monday at Knowles Cemetery, southwest of Crescent, under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, of Del City, Rev. Michael Harmon officiated at both services. Mrs. JONES was born April 17, 1921, in Crescent, to Thomas and Clauddia BOGGESS. She died February 16 in Del City. Mrs. JONES is survived by her husband, Robert L., of the home; sister, Mabel ; daughter, Clauddia; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and john; son and daughter-in-law, Loren and Shirley; nephew, Tommy; 11 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Robert Preston CHENNAULT, Jr., 29, of Guthrie, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Davis Funeral Chapel. Rev. Eddie Dye will officiate the service with burial at Crescent Cemetery, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. Mr. PRESTON was born April 29, 1960, in Oklahoma City, to Robert Preston and Carmaleta "FINK" CHENNAULT, Sr. He died March 3 at VA Hospital, in Oklahoma City. Mr. CHENNAULT is survived by his parents, Robert and Carmaleta; half brother, Mark; sister, Linda; and grandmothers, Letha and Laura. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers.
Funeral services for Lawrence F. HOLZER, 65, of Guthrie, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Smith Memorial Chapel, in Guthrie. Rev. Earnest Owen will officiate. Burial will be at Summit View Cemetery, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Mr. HOLZER was born October 29, 1924, in Stillwater, to Charles and Minnie HOLZER. He died March 2 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. Mr. HOLZER is survived by his wife, Lora, of the home; two daughters, Vicki and Billie; two brothers, Jolly and Glen; three sisters, Aleta Mae, Mary and Doris; four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Funeral services for Anna Virginia McCOY, 75, of Stillwater, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Strode Funeral Home Chapel, in Stillwater. Rev. Paul Channel will officiate the service with interment at Marena Cemetery, west of Stillwater, under the direction of Strode Funeral Home. Mrs. McCOY was born June 10, 1914, in Sheridan, W. Va., to Thomas Sherwood and Leona (BIAS) ADKINS. She died March 4 at her daughter's home in Stillwater. She married Jasper Newton McCOY May 23, 1931, in Branchland, W.Va. Mr. McCOY died in June of 1987. Mrs. McCOY is survived by her son, Dale; two daughters, Eva and Anna; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren;; one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Euthella. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three sons, Gary Wondle, Jasper Dewey, and Larry Bernard McCOY; and a grandchild, Dianna Bernice CANNING.

Interment will be at Gracelawn Cemetery, in Edmond, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. WEATHERS was born June 26, 1906 to Thomas and Mintie REED in Antlers, Okla. I.T. She died March 6 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. She was married to Walter WEATHERS December 31, 1924 in Logan County. Mr. WEATHERS died in July 1967. Mrs. WEATHERS is survived by her son, Roy; her sister, Ruth; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren. Along with her husband, Mrs. WEATHERS was preceded in death by her son, Nolan, her parents, six brothers and one sister.

She was born Nov. 30, 1913, in Pattmes, Arkansas, to Edmund and Sarah SPAGNER. She died March 3, 1990. She married Lawrence BOLTON. Survivors include one brother, Rev. Otis F.; a sister-in-law, Roberta; one niece, Helen; nephew, Charles E.; a brother-in-law, Barney B.; a host of nieces and other nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, five brothers and a niece.

Mrs. HAMPTON was born Feb. 2, 1908 at Seward, Oklahoma, to Howard and Hettie LOWDER. She married Paul C. HAMPTON on Sept. 7, 1927 at Guthrie. Survivors include a son, James; two sisters, Ruth and Bessie; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Mrs. HAMPTON was preceded in death by her husband in 1979, a son, Paul E. HAMPTON, her parents, two brothers and a sister.

He was born May 7, 1939 in Sumner, Oklahoma, to Otto and Josephine "SCHULTZ" RINK. He died March 9 at Perry Memorial Hospital. He married Wanda BAY in November 1962. Survivors include his wife, Wanda, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Paulette; a son, Dale; two grandchildren; and a sister, Esther.

Causey; aunt, Evelyn and Mardella; one sister, two daughters, eight grandchildren
Funeral services for Arnold COCHRAN, 77, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Abernathy Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. C. Fred William will officiate and interment will be in Oakland-Knowles Cemetery, Crescent. He was born July 29, 1912, in Kingfisher County to Phillip and Margaret "SHUTLER" COCHRAN. He died March 9 at Crescent Care Center. He married Anna Lou PAYNE on August 15, 1935 in Kingfisher. She preceded him in death December 9, 1976. Survivors include one son, Max; two daughters, Margaret and Olive; 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and a sister, Cecil, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Sue PARDUE; his parents, his wife, and four grandchildren.

He was born Jan. 25, 1910 in Lake Creek, Oklahoma, son of James I. And Ada "SATCHELL" EVANS. He died March 10 at Crescent Care Center. Survivors include three daughters, Jane, Alice and Mary; two brothers, Clarence Ray and Neil D.; three sisters, Louise, Ruth and Will Mae; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers.

Wayne Robinson will officiate the ceremony, assisted by Dr. W.R. Corvin. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Oklahoma City, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Guthrie. Mrs. ROBINSON was born Dec. 5, 1905 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, to T.W. and Martha (SMITH) PRYOR. She died March 10, 1990 at Golden Age Nursing Home. She married Rev. Ralph ROBINSON on August 8, 1926 in Checotah, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1984. She is survived by two sons, Wesley and Wayne; three daughters, Norma, Mary Ann and Grace; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, a son and one granddaughter.

She is survived by three brothers, J.B., Daryl L. and Floyd R.; and a sister, Barbara. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. DOBBS was born July 8, 1898 in Guthrie to Edwin Franklin and Benjaline Insley SHREFFLER. She married John V. DOBBS Dec. 28, 1920, in Guthrie. She is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Rosemary; son John V. Jr.; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and a great-great grandson.
Funeral services for Samuel O. HOPSON, 78, of Marshall, will be held at 10:30 a.m. at First Christian Church in Marshall. Rev. Randy Beeman will officiate the service, with burial at North IOOF Cemetery, in Marshall, under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home, of Crescent. Mr. HOPSON was born July 27, 1911 in Waukomis, Okla., to W.L. and Malaha Susan HOPSON. He died March 12 at South Central Regional Medical Center, in Laurel, Miss. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Lefton and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven sisters and two brothers.

He died Saturday, March 17, at Coles Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. He married Lois ACTON October 8, 1942, in Oklahoma City. He is survived by his wife, Lois of the home; three brothers, Milton, Warren and Dale. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.

Burial will be in Oakland-Knowles Cemetery under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home. Billie was born October 31, 1929 in Enid to John and Mary (MARTIN) GRISHAM. She died March 17 at her home near Crescent. She married Kenneth PHILLIPS December 28, 1946 in Wellington, Kan. She is survived by her husband; four daughters, Cyndi Chery, Robyn, Kellie; three brothers, Home, Dewayne, John; two sisters, Dorothy and Alice and 10 grandchildren. Billie was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two grandchildren.
Funeral services for former Mulhall resident Leonard SPENCER, 81, were held recently in Alva. He died February 24 in Beadles Nursing Home. He was buried February 27 in Alva Cemetery. He was born Dec. 9, 1908 to Orlando and Marietta SPENCER of Alva. He married Hazel HOLT on Oct. 10, 1938. Survivors include his wife, Hazel, of the home, and three daughters, including Becky and Frank.

He is survived by his wife, Melba, of the home in Guthrie; a son, Darrin; three daughters, Darla, Carla and Donita; four brothers, Guy Jr., Ben, Bobby and Terrell; two sisters, Wynell and Jeanette; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

She was born June 27, 1900 in Indian Territory near Durant, Oklahoma, to Albert J. and Ida COVINGTON THOMPSON. She died March 17 at Golden Age Nursing Home, in Guthrie. She married Earl Wilder DRAKE, Sr., Dec. 25, 1920 in Houston, Texas. She is survived by three sons, Earl W. Jr., Albert E., and Dr. Joe; nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Mrs. EDWARDS was born February 24, 1921 in Crescent to George and Ida Bell "BURPO" LANGLEY. She died March 18 at Mercy Health Center, in Oklahoma City. She married Joseph Oscar Edwards May 11, 1980. Mrs. EDWARDS is survived by three daughters, Ruth, JoAnn, Lois "Toni"; two sisters, Ethel, Pansy; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three sisters and a great grandchild.

Mr. FOSTER was born November 1, 1930 in Oklahoma City to Charles and Cecelia "HALKO" FOSTER JR. He died March 18 at Logan Hospital and Medical Center after a long illness. He married Betty Ray SQUIRES August 12, 1952 in Geary. Mr. FOSTER is survived by his wife, Betty, of the home in Guthrie; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles "Ray" and Lori, Randall "Randy" and Debbie; daughter and son-in-law, Christina "Christy" and Jon; three granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Thomas Jackson SIMPSON, 66, of Guthrie were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Davis Funeral Chapel. Reader Willie Points officiated the ceremony and burial was in El Reno Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. He was born March 26, 1923 in Elk City to James T. And Barbara (PARKER) SIMPSON. He is survived by three nephews, Jimmie, James and Warren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Funeral services for Frank A. WHITMORE, 91, who lived north of Coyle, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Strode Funeral Chapel, in Stillwater. Floyd VanDeburgh will officiate the service with burial at Clarkson Cemetery, north of Coyle, under the direction of Strode Funeral Home, of Stillwater. Mr. WHITMORE was born February 7, 1899 at Merena, Okla. to James C. and Carrie "ELLIS" WHITMORE. He died March 18 at his home. He married Belle DAWSON May 25, 1932 in Kingfisher. She died April 14, 1989. Mr. WHITMORE is survived by his son, Bill; daughter, Roena; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Lester, and John; three sisters, Grace, Bertha and Lily. Along with his wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, and two infant brothers.

She died March 19, 1990 in Logan Hospital and Medical Center. She is survived by two sons, Van Dewey and Curtis M. and his wife, Lorene; a brother, Otis; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends, and a special cousin, Mrs. Evans Fowler. She was preceded in death by her husband, B. R. ROBINSON, April 30, 1963, her parents, four sisters and two brothers.

He died March 18. He married Julia BIGDA in 1952. She died in November 1982. Survivors include his cousin Gary D. and several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by a son, Howard N.; six brothers, Herman, Rev. John Q., Roosevelt, Walter, Eugene, and Wendell; seven sisters, Daisy E., Cleo, Thelma, Alice, Bernice, Myreta, and Sadie; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter and five sisters.

He is survived by six sons, Tim, Wade, Wayne, Warren, Wally, and Bill; three sisters, Fay, Wyaconda and Wanda; a brother, Sam; a sister, Mattie; 19 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Reva, Oct. 10, 1985; his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Father Elmer Carl ROBNETT, 66, died yesterday at Logan Hospital and Medical Center. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Archbishop of Oklahoma, the Most Reverend Charles M. Salatka will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Davis Funeral Home. Father ROBNETT was born July 6, 1923 in Coalton, Oklahoma, to William H. and Catherine (CHRISTY) ROBNETT. He is survived by two brother, Edward and William E.; two aunts, an uncle and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers. Wake services will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Church.

Rider will officiate the ceremony and burial will be in Summit View Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Guthrie. He was born April 8, 1917 in Geneseo, Kansas, to Sam and Alice DUNAGAN. He died March 28, 1990 at Guthrie Retirement and Care Center. He is survived by six sons, Tim, Wade, Wayne, Warren, Wally, and Bill; three daughters, Faye, Wyaconda and Wanda; a brother, Sam; a sister, Mattie; 19 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Reva, Oct. 10, 1985; his parents, two brother and three sisters.
Funeral services for Former Crescent resident, John Bradley LINVILLE, 80, of Kingston, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Abernathy Funeral Home Chapel, in Crescent. Stanley Sears will officiate at the service, with interment at Crescent Cemetery, under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home. Mr. Linville was born February 13, 1910 in Lovell, Okla. to John L. and Mary "FAST" LINVILLE. He died March 29 at St. Anthony's Hospital, in Oklahoma City. He married Lois RATCLIFF September 16, 1931 at Crescent. He is survived by his wife, Lois of the home in Kingston; son, J.B.; two daughters, GloVonne and Jo; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Mr. LINVILLE was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and five sisters.
