MCCORMICK Posted by Ken Gibbons <kengib@toolcity.net> on Fri, 10 Sep 1999
I am a McCORMICK descendant. All of my ancestors were born in Pennsylvania where they first reveled in oil. Then began the westward march with long stops in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Oklahoma, following oil all of the way. My great-grandfather, John McCormick lived in or around Tulsa. He had two brothers who languished in Ohio but eventually arrived in Oklahoma. They, too, probably went to the Tulsa area.
Here is the pair I have lost:
AUSTIN McCORMICK, born in Pennsylvania 28 November 1866
PHILIP G. McCORMICK, born in Pennsylvania 21 Apr 1873
I know nothing of spouses or children but assumed these good Catholic boys took their lessons seriously.
