His parents were Calvin C. and Gertrude Curry. Lucius paternal father was Melvin Graham. Lucius attended Langton University where he earned a B.A. degree, Southwestern University where he earned his masters degree and the University of Oklahoma. Lucius was a world traveler. He was a friend and advisor to some of America's greatest personalities; such as, Rev. James Cleveland, Mahalia Jackson, Albertina Walker, Billy Preston and Sis. Jessie Mae Renfro Sapp. He leaves to cherish his memories, four brothers: Charles (Elise) Land, Cleo (Verna) Hearn, Jerry Graham, and Melvin Graham. Three Uncles: Frank (Betty), Henry (Mary), and Huey (Elsentoria) Relerford; three aunts: Ruby Brown, Nina Kirsey and Vera Mae Potter.
