Driver Is Convicted In Death
Bristow, March 24 (AP) A two year prison
sentence was recommended for Clinton Pierpont, Sapulpa, by a
district court jury that convicted him of the automobile death
of Roy Cox, Bristow gasoline station employee.
The state contended Pierpont, convicted
of manslaughter, was intoxicated when his car struck Cox on a
highway near here December 24, 1934. A previous trial ended in a
deadlock jury.
