My family and I have been trying to get information on Mae (PUTNEY) HINDMAN who had a photography studio in Walters in the early teens. We have materials from her, as she was our maternal grandmother, Tom HINDMAN, was her husband. She died in 1916, and was from Elgin. There are a few photos posted by a James WOLFE of her studio in Walters, but the link is long inactive, and only the photos remain. Am trying to find out if the museum or preservation of the studio still exists, and also more about her. Emails to Walters and Cotton County governmental links have not resulted in any responses.
