RODEN, GANN, McCONNELL
I am looking for information on the RODEN family. My great grandmother was Melvina Roden who married Winebert McConnell of Sebastian Co., AR. She had two sisters, Rebecca Angeline who married Joseph Francis GANN and Sarah Ellen RODEN who married Winebert MCCONNELL after Melvina's death. The three girls had at least two older brothers who were born in Red River Co, TX., James W. and George. James and George were born in the 1850s and listed in TX with their father, Erwin (Ervin?), and mother, Rebecca RODEN. The parents are shown as being born in Alabama. The three RODEN girls were born in the 1870s in Arkansas. Rebecca RODEN-GANN and her husband Joseph Francis GANN are buried in Sardis Cemetary, now an island in Sardis Lake. Melvina is buried near Slaytonville, AR; and Sarah Ellen RODEN- MCCONNELL and Winebert MCCONNELL are buried at Hartford Memorial Park, Hartford, AR. BAILEY, SEXTON
I am researching some of my BAILEY family history. I show that my great-great grandfather Felix Green BAILEY married Jane A. SEXTON. I am unable to find any marriage records on them. They had 9 children Sarah Jane, Felix Green, Jr., H. Johnson, Johnny, Bernard/Bertrum, Samuel Alexander, Maxey Patton, Bob, Lucy Lee Ann (twin brother of Bob). Bob died in infancy. WILHITE, DICKERSON
I am researching Simon M. (Marion) Wilhite and Ellen Frances Dickerson. At the time of his death, 6 Mar 1938, Simon lived "on a star route, six miles out of Tuskahoma". GOADE, MOSES
I am looking for information on Nathaniel GOADE b: 5 Feb 1880 Tx. d: April 7, 1913 Clayton, Pushmataha, Ok. Wife unknown, but he had at least one child: Cecil GOADE b: 1909. He also had half brothers & sisters by the surname of MOSES that also lived in Pushmataha County.Any information to these surnames would be greatly appreciated!!! FULLER
I am seeking information on Ezekiel and Latrica Fuller. They lived in the area of Rufe, Pushmataha County and are supposed to be buried in Rufe. Sometime in the 1920's or very early 1930's, Ezekiel shot and killed an Indian boy who stole a watermelon. He said it was an accident. He was convicted of manslaughter and sent to McAlester State Prison. He was pardoned because of his age by Governor William H. Murray between 1931 and 1935. WEATHERS, LINTON
Looking for anything on the WEATHERS-LINTON families in the Antlers area of Push County. My grandmother was (Bertha) Bernice Weathers-Stakley. Her parents were Ted Weathers, born 7-12-05 in Madill, OK, and Maudie Linton, born 8-18-07 in Brazos (?), TX. I think they lived in Antlers most of their lives. My grandma's siblings are/were: Guy Calvin
(G.C.), Gerald Melton, Melvin Louis, Basil Wintz, (Janice) Sue (married name was Pfaff), Oma Rebecca (married name Bailey), Calvin Ray, and Jimmy Dean. Recently located an old family picture taken 1921 (believe to be near Antlers, OK) on back is written: Audry LEONARD & J.L. MCMADINARI Lomice (Loma) LEONARD and Melven LEONARD, Belle LEONARD and E.J. LEONARD. The Belle LEONARD is my grandmother and most of my aunts and uncles born Antlers between 15 Jul 1920 and circa 1924. Grandparents were Joseph Url (later name changed to Earl Joseph) LEONARD whose father was David Francis (Davey) LEONARD & Frances Catherine ROGERS LEONARD, my grandmother was Lizzie Belle (Belle) HANKINS LEONARD whose parents were P.T. SIMS
I am looking for information on the SIMS family residing in Corinne, Choctaw County in 1920 (now part of Pushmataha County). My great grandfather was E.O.(Earnest Otto) SIMS, b. abt 1882 in Alabama, date of death unknown in Corinne, OK. His wife, my great grandmother, was named Lillian E. and is said to have been Choctaw Indian, b. abt 1886 in Arkansas. Lillian had 2 daughters & a son by a previous marriage: 1) Lorine G. BALLARD, b. abt 1907 in Arkansas, 2) Gracie V. BALLARD, b. abt 1909 in Arkansas, and 3) Victory L. BALLARD, b. abt 1915 in Oklahoma. E.O. had 5 children presumably from an earlier marriage 1) Lottie F. SIMS, b. abt 1903 in Oklahoma, 2) Earnest Otto SIMS, b. abt 1907 in Oklahoma, 3) Gracie M. SIMS, b. 1909 in Oklahoma, 4) Edgar O. SIMS, b. abt 1911 in Oklahoma, and 5) Thelma R. SIMS, b. abt 1913 in Oklahoma. They had one child between them: 1) Wilber O. SIMS, b. abt 1919 in Oklahoma. I am trying to find any information on the SHARP family. I have a death certificate that says my grandmother was born in Antlers, OK in 1911. Her name was Love Kathleen SHARP. WHEELER
I am searching for any info on Onzo WHEELER and Isom WHEELER. They lived in Antlers in the mid to late 1800's, and I believe Onzo was the sheriff of Antlers at one time. Onzo married Lucy Lee Ann Bailey and had 9 children,

SODERLING
I am searching for my grandfather's sister, Kizzie or Kate SODERLING. She was born Jan. 7, 1878 in Dallas Co. AR. She married E. D. THOMPSON on April 15, 1895 in Cleveland Co. AR. I had always thought they had lived the entire time in TX, but found out through a cousin that E. D. (Bert) had a sawmill near Clayton for several years, around and before 1939. I am looking for information on the ALEXANDER Family for my grandson, Austin Dale ALEXANDER. His father is Larry Dale ALEXANDER, currently living in McAlester, OK. Larry D. ALEXANDER's father was Henry Russell ALEXANDER, b. 29 Sep 1895, d. 4 Jun 1986 in Clayton, Pushmataha Co., OK and is buried in Stephens Memorial Park in Clayton. Henry R. ALEXANDER's wife was Beulah Sally CARTER, b. 1901. They had 3 children: Charles ALEXANDER, Larry Dale ALEXANDER and Eva ALEXANDER. I would appreciate any information regarding the above individuals and would like to verify if Henry R. LONGWITT, LONGWITH, MCCLELLAN, HANKINS
My gr gr grandmother was Mylyda Musidore LONGWITT (recently another cousin found her listed along with her father on census as LONGWITH her name as Maladie & father's as Willie Baker LONGWITH) b circa 1854 GA d 1884-1885. Mylyda's mother's name unknown -- apparently she was raised by her father ? and was said to be Cherokee although could be Choctaw or maybe Chickasaw. Always told she walked Trail of Tears but her birth/death dates make that unrealistic. Also told by my mother that on this side of the family a grand-mother's name was Sophia Melvina Fitszeller from London City but no other information. Mylyda's married a MCCLELLAN (cousin said his name was Terrel Theodore CLELLAN) b1846 TN. Daughter (my gr grandmother) was Effie O'Dell MCCLELLAN b 27 Oct 1880 Reelfoot, TN who lived in Durant, OK later after married (to P.T. HANKINS) but could also have lived around the Antlers, OK area as I have a marriage license issued Antlers for Effie's daughter (my grandmother) Belle HANKINS when she married my grandfather Earl Joseph LEONARD. JONES, STEPHENS
I am researching my grandparents, JAMES P. JONES and DORA E. STEPHENS married in Wetumka Oklahoma in 1900. Lived in Clayton Oklahoma in 1920 with their children, Edgar, Eva, Rufus, Schuler, Pauline, and Irene. Pauline and Irene were born in 1920 as twins although I have heard rumors that they were not. Supposedly born in Tuskahoma it has been impossible to locate birth records. JAMES JONES left the family for Texas in the late 20's and was never heard from again. Edgar also disappeared at that time. DORA JONES and her daughter PAULINE DENNIS are buried in a cemetary in
