Pfc. Manford C. Jenkins

A first gunner in the anti-aircraft branch of the Marine corps, Jenkins is now stationed in the Southwest Pacific.

Has been in service for 14 months, 12 of which have been spent overseas.

While in training at San Diego, Calif., he received a sharpshooter medal for pistol and marksmanship medal with rifle.

He is 19 years of age and was graduated from the Guthrie highschool.

Prior to entering the service, on September 7, 1942, he was employed at Fairmonts.

His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Wade Jenkins, 20 Park Pl.
