Gayle Harman

Enlisted in the Essex Scottish regiment of the Canadian army in 1939 and was killed August 19, 1942 in a raid on Dieppe, west coast of occupied France.

He attended Guthrie schools and Oklahoma Military Academy, Claremore.

He enlisted in the U. S. Army in 1932 and was assigned to Fort Sill.

He sailed for the Philippines in 1934 and was stationed at Luzon.

He received a discharge in 1937 and returned to Guthrie for a short time before enlisting in the Canadian army.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Harman, 512 E. Washington Ave.

His wife and daughter live in Windsor.
