Pvt. Floyd B. Jelsma

Was wounded by a piece of shrapnel in is right thigh, while in combat, July 20, 1943, but is now back on duty in the south Pacific.

A member of the U. S. Marines, Jelsma is with the truck department.

He was engaged in farming before his induction September 5, 1942.

He was graduated from Guthrie highschool and is now 22 years of age.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Jelsma, Rt 4, Guthrie.
