Sgt. Eugene L. Simpson

A member of the weather forecast bureau of the army air corps, Sgt. Simpson received training at the base weather station, Mather Air Base, Sacramento, California. Formerly stationed in England, he was transferred to Africa on December 12, 1942.

He attended highschool and Central state College in Edmond and was a staff reporter for the Vista, college newspaper, before entering the service May 6, 1942.

He is now 25 years of age and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Simpson, Rt. 2, Guthrie.
