Lt. Col. Chester H. Anderson

One of a group of officers chosen to organize, train and equip the 63rd Division at Camp Blanding, Fla., was moved in August with the division to Camp Van Dorn, Miss.

Is now commanding and training the Field Artillery.

He attended Guthrie highschool and the University of Oklahoma, Norman, and was superintendent of schools at Moore, before going into the service April 20, 1941.

Was captain and adjutant at Fort Sam Houston, Tex., in 1941, received commission as major in 1942 at Fort Sill and promoted to lieutenant-colonel early in 1943.

He is 35 years of age, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Anderson, 1502 E. Cleveland Ave.

His wife lives at Natchez, Miss.
