Pvt. Billy Ray Owen

The 18-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Owen, 223 N. Wentz Blvd, enlisted in the U. S. Marine corps July 7, 1943.

He completed boot camp training at San Diego, Calif., and is now stationed at the Norman N. A. T. T. C. south naval base, where he is in training as an aerial gunner.

He was graduated from the Guthrie highschool, with the class of 1943.
