Hallowe'en Party

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Loy, No. 5 Park-pl, entertained with a gay Hallowe'en party Saturday evening for their son, H. G. when they were assis'ed by Mrs. Paul Loy, of Shawnee, by Dr. and Mrs. R. L. Davis, and by Maxine Overton as the fortune teller.
A lighted pumpkin ghost sentinel on the front porch, and guests were met at the door by another ghostly figure. The lights were covered with pumpkin jack o'lanterns and the trail the guests followed through the darkened rooms led over wobbly springs, past clutching hands and through scary passageways.
Hallowe'en games were played, in which first prizes were won by Joan Sandidge and Paul Carey, Jr, and low prize by Jean Carey. After the games an ice course, accompanied by favers in orange and black.
Guests were Carolyn Loy of Shawnee, and Patsy Manes, Bonnie Braun, Mary Janes Hough, Argyle O'Brien, Kenneth Mitchell, Robert Anthis, Earl Emerick, Bobby Corzine, Bobby Drake, Jack Talbolt, jr., Sammy Jones, Mark Rouch, jr., Sherman Koen, Eddie Mack Haffer and
Wayne Towery, Paul Carey, jr., Dale Campbell, Charles Long, Jo Carey, Jean Carey, Shirley Romney, Jo Ann Austin, Peggy Offen, Mary Lee Swearingen, Dorthy Ruth Carey, Sue Smith, Joan Sandidge, Patsy Peeler and Rosalie Peeler.
