Benjamin Luther Stockdale, 85. of 803 1/2 NW 10, died Thursday at his home after an unexpected heart attack.  He had been in failing health for some time. Services will be announced by the Guardian funeral home.

Born at Staunton, Vn., Stockdale came to Oklahoma City in 1920. Until his retirement in 1950, he was interior decorator at Oklahoma City General Hospital.

A member of the Dawn Bible Students. Stockdale is survived by his wife, Ethel, of the home! two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Davis and Miss Inna Stockdale, and two sons, Harry and Carl, all of East Liverpool, Ohio; two stepsons, Lee Whitaker,  and J.W. and a brother, Otto Stockdale, East Liverpool, Ohio
