WILL J. COLLINS
Will J. Collins, 62-year-old former Oklahoma City
grocer, died unexpectedly after a heart attack
Friday at his home in Phoenix, Arz.
Services will be 10:30 am
Wednesday in the chapel of Smith & Kernke funeral
home, with burial at
Arlington Memorial Park cemetery.
Collins was a grocer in
Oklahoma City for about 20 years before moving away
12 years ago. He had lived in Arizona six years. He
was born at Childress, Texas, but was reared in
Tillman county. He moved to Oklahoma City about
1926. A member of First Nazarene church at Oklahoma
City, he traveled on evangelistic tours as singing
conductor after leaving here.
Survivors include his wife,
Sally, of the home; three daughters, Miss Margaret
Collins, Coalgate; Mrs.- Warren S. Moore Jr.,
Washington, D. C.; and Mrs. Jack E. Jewell, Ardmore;
a son. Bill D. Collins, 1153 Carter drive; eight
grandchildren; three brothers, Paul, of Tipton;
Davis, of Albuquerque, N. M., and Charles, Encino.
Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Kenneth Trobaugh,
Snyder, and Mrs. Austin Younger, Hollis.
