Claiborne PARRISH was in Logan County in Olmstead by 1840 when his son Isham Woodson Parrish was born. His wife was Sally (Sarah) SAUNDERS, daughter of Reuben Saunders.
Claiborne died in 1842 perhaps following an injury since he was only 46 years
old. His son James Henry Parrish and his descendants have
lived in Logan County all these years.
