This picture taken on their wedding day, June 28, 1905 in Marshall, Logan County, Oklahoma. George Paine was a mail carrier in Marshall on mail route #4. Beatrice was the daughter of John H. and Josephine Wright of Marshall township. They had two children born in Marshall: Helen Harriet (1906) and Harold George (1908). Beatrice died in 1915 in the hospital in Guthrie after a runaway horse and buggy accident at the age of 26.
