They both came to Oklahoma from Kansas. Arthur homesteaded with his parents at the opening of the Iowa country. Fannie came to Oklahoma a year later. Arthur carried mail and passengers from Guthrie to Langston before the town of Coyle was laid out. He & Fannie owned a farm near Coyle, in later years moving into the town of Coyle.
