| MARIMON DAVIS-71 years old, died at his home, 304 E. 35th St. So, Saturday morning. Besides his wife Harriett Moore Davis he is survived by two sons James Davis of San Diego, CA and Elmer Davis, Oklahoma City and three daughters, Mrs. Frank Hardin, Mrs. Roy Elder, and Mrs. Lloyd Alexander, all of Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be conducted from Garrison's
chapel at 10:00 Monday morning by T. G. Netherton. Burial in Sunnylane Cemetery. Marimon & Harriett were from Posey County, Indiana. Marimon's parents were Catherine "Katy" Dowd and John Davis. They came to Logan County, Oklahoma in 1889 from Kansas and lived outside Crescent until 1910 when they moved to Oklahoma City and he owned a shoe repair shop on Shields Boulevard. |
