Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Summit View Cemetery for Emmett F. Robertson, age 74 of Guthrie, who died Aug. 19 in Guthrie Nursing Center. Dr. John W. Dowdy will officiate and burial will be under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. |
Mr. Robertson was born May 9, 1910 in Elm, MO. and had lived in the Guthrie and Lawrie areas for the past 45 years, moving here from Cushing. He retired from the Santa Fe Railroad in 1974. |
He is survived by two daughters, LaVerla Simpson and Mrs. Mona Taylor, both of Guthrie; one sister, Brookie Ree, Growley, La; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. |
