DYE, Edward 7-29-98
My great grandfather, Edward DYE, moved from Kansas to Lone Wolf, Oklahoma in or about 1901. I assume he went there to find land. I know that he died in 1905 and family story suggests he died in Lone Wolf. I would like to confirm this and understand that there are no death records in Oklahoma to send for. Is anyone out there connected to cemeteries in the Lone Wolf area? would you be able to check for an Edward DYE. His wife was Ida M. Dye and his children were Roland and Leland DYE. The family came to California after his death. I believe Ida remarried but don't know to whom. It is possible she married someone in Kiowa area.Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.
