 Phyllis
Ann McCollum was born July 1st, 1944 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Roy and Agnes
Peeks. She went to be with our Lord and Savior on October 8th, 2008 at 64 years
of age.
She is survived by her husband Robert (Bob) McCollum of 40 years. Phyllis has
two sons: Roy Dean McCollum of Sapulpa (Deaner to most), Robert (Bobby) James
McCollum and his wife Janie; two grand children: Robert "Little Bobby" McCollum
and Linsey McCollum of Sapulpa. She is also survived by her sister Carol Boaz of
Sapulpa. In addition, she is survived by too many loving nieces, nephews and
friends to count, all of whom are helping the family make a peaceful transition.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Roy and Agnes Peeks and her
son Russell McCollum. Also, her sister Charlene Alred, her brother Joe Peeks,
her Nephew David Alred, and her nephew Paul Peeks.
Phyllis was strong in her faith. Everyone that knew her knows that she was a
very compassionate person. She was always putting others and their needs before
her own. She was the most determined woman that many will ever know. She was the
jewel that shined. Phyllis was that listening ear and that friend you could call
on no matter what. She had unconditional love for everyone she knew. Nobody
could ever fill her shoes. We will never forget her. She will live in our hearts
forever!
