Roland Ashley Standifer

Services will be held in Hillcrest Memorial Chapel at 11 a.m. Monday for Roland Ashley Standifer, 64, who died May 3. The Rev. Harlin Hines from the Assembly of God Church will officiate. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Standifer, a native of Wilburton, Oklahoma resided in Kern County for 31 years. He was a retired assistant drilling superintendent for Shell Oil Company and a member of Libertas Lodge 466 F&AM, and a charter member of the Old Time Fiddlers Association, District 3.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane; three sons, Fred of Ventura, Dale of Oildale, and James of Farmington, New Mexico; two daughters, Inez Savage of Oildale and Betty Jane Alexander of Valier, Montana; a brother, Enoch Standifer of Gallup, New Mexico and 12 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be from Libertas Lodge 466 F&AM
