          located northwest of Stillwater on the south side of the road 4 miles west of Highway 177 on McMurtry Road. It is in a rural area, surrounded by a chain link fence. Approximately 1.65 acres, located at the northwest corner of Lot 1 , Section 30, T20N, R2E, in Eden Township, near the Noble County border. 361117N Latitude, 0970822W Longitude, Lake Carl Blackwell.
          In 1899, William D. Lanier deeded the cemetery property to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church of Eden Township, to be used for cemetery and church purposes.

          cemetery is 8 miles south of Kiowa in Atoka County and about 100 yards west of High 69. Charles LaFlore purchased the toll bridge on Limestone Creek from Mr. Thompson. LaFlore built a large two-story house on the west side of the natural gap in the limestone ridge. Field work on April 12, 1993 by Clarence Hoehman, Johnny Cudd and Bennie Loftin. There are 36 unidentified graves. This cemetery is large and half of it is over grown. Many rock marked, and sunken graves are in the trees and vines.

Canvassed by Elsie Rumley and Joyce Rumley Wilson June 1984. Information on unmarked graves contributed by Mrs. Ellie Pickens and husband of Coalgate. This list was compiled from two lists, this one and the one from 1983 by Janice Allen, Gwen Walker and Evelyn Youngblood. This Cemetery is in Coal County but is on the line and many Atoka County residents were buried here. The cemetery is still in use.

Continue north for four miles until you reach the Lone Star Indian Church and Cemetery. The burial ground is located on the right next to the road. It is very well kept and is still being used. It was canvassed April 9, 1983 by Janice Allen, Gwen Walker, and Evelyn Youngblood. On that date it contained 15 identified graves and 16 unidentified ones.

          cemetery is 6 miles west of Owasso, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma on 86th St. North. It is on private land. It is said to have been a large cemetery. Most of it is covered with trees and weeds and is impossible to get to during the growing season. Vandals have been there and it is hard to determine all of the graves.

          Coming toward Wilburton from the East (Poteau side), about two miles before you reach Wilburton is the community of Lutie. You will have just gone over Fourche Maline Creek for the second time (one sign says "Little Fourche Maline" and you will see a hill just ahead that resembles an overpass (but isn't). You have reached Lutie. Now, to find the Cemetery. The first street that you can turn left on, do so, and this will take you to the Old Lutie Road. Turn right on the Old Lutie Road and travel along a short distance until you see the cemetery. nfergie@cwis.net
