Surnames: ENGLAND

Searching for descendants of Andrew England who lived and
died in Stigler, OK, and is buried in the Stigler Cemetery.  I have all
the federal census documents where he and family members are listed, but
I am trying to find someone who might have old pictures of him in the
early part of the 20th century.  My grandfather visited him several
times, so I am sure there must be some pictures of them together.
Andrew is my 2nd great uncle. I am hoping there will be an obituary for him.

Surnames:  NORTHUM, MOONEYHAM
Submitted on 8Oct2011 by:  Karen Northum

Researching the surnames, Northum and Mooneyham.  The Northum family and relatives lived primarily in McCurtain township about 1900-1930 or so but other areas as well.  Mooneyham family married into the Northum family and other relatives lived in or near the same area and time period.

I have been searching for years for John H. Sims born Alabama in May of 1860.  He is buried in Stigler cemetery.  I am trying to find out who his parents were.  I have checked Alabama census and have gone back to Guntersville Alabama three times searching and have found just his marriage certificate where he married Catherine Key.  I know he was married to Elizabeth Fish (Betty).  I know who his children were and I know how he died.  Does anyone know who his parents were?  There are some guesses on Ancestry.com but when I've gone to prove them,  have found them wrong.  I would like to hear from anyone working on this line.  My dad was John W. Patton from Lequire and mom was Oadie Keith Patton.

Surnames: MCCAIN
Submitted on 31Aug2010 by Donde Smith
I am looking for Alice Jane Carothers McCain (my GGrandmother) who died in Coweta, March 4 1949 and Alice's (second) husband, John R McCain who died in OK in 1918 but I know no other details.   Alice was living in the 1930 census with her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Ben Harman, in Gatesville. I got her name from her son Murley M McCain's (b. 17 Mar 1894 in Coweta) death certificate, Yuma, AZ, March 20, 1929. Her first husband's name might have been Woods.
I know from the WW! Draft Registration (and other Censuses) that there were a few other McCains in the area, but possibly many were related at some point migrating from Missouri/Arkansas.
We are also looking for a marriage certificate for their son Murl (Murley) McCain and Lillie Jane Pool (daughter of Sanford P and Laura P (Berry),  Jan 13, 1919? in Haskell.
