Sod House
Noble County, Oklahoma
My Grandpa was born in Perry OK in 1903.
My great grandfather homesteaded on the Cherokee strip. They lived in a
sod house. We understand a daughter was born and buried in a shoe box
under the Yuka Plant on the homestead. I am sending a picture of the sod
house where Frank and Ted Stanek were born.
