This photo taken about 1905 in Ochelata, OK, of Samuel Thomas "Tom" McGuire family.
Left to right, his wife Emma (Erb) McGuire holding Roxie; Ethel; "Tom", holding Emmett; Earl. Earl and Ethel are Tom's children by his first wife, Lula Matilda. Tom was a member of the Modern Woodsmen of Ochelata.

Tom and Emma (Erb) McGuire, believed to be taken about 1903.  The caption on the photo says "Tom and Emma, Earl and Ethel".  However, it is believed that the two children in the middle are instead Tommy and Lucy McGuire, children of Tom's brother Andrew Jackson McGuire.  Their mother was deceased and they lived for awhile with Tom and Emma.  It is believed that the child in Tom's arms is Emmett, and the child in Emma's arms is Roxie, both children being Tom's by Emma.
