Wimer Homestead
circa 1898
Wildwood, Wood, Oklahoma Territory

William P. Wimer, came to Woods county in 1898 and settled on a homestead claim that his son,  Levi Clarence Wymer had filed on.  William and wife, Rosella Slover Wimer and two children lived on the old claim near Wildwood, O.T. on 160 acres of land.  Their daughter, Linnie, married Albert Bryron Bowles.  Their son, Sylvester Layman Wimer, married twice.. Lillie Sturgeon and Margaret Cecil Babbs.  Sylvester disappeared about 28 Sept  1919 while living at Grooms, Carson County, Texas and was never seen again.  

W.P. or William P. Wimer died  20 June 1911 in Garfield county.  His will was probated in Garfield county. My granddad,  Levi Clarence Wymer , was his oldest son.
