Jeremiah J. Learning Family
Lived near Forgan, Beaver County, Oklahoma

Above photograph taken of the Jeremiah J. Leaming family who lived near Forgan, Beaver Co. OK, and later in nearby Liberal, Seward, KS.

The photo was taken about 1922 in Liberal, Seward, KS, or in Dodge City, Ford, KS. This family settled near Forgan, OK, about 1908. Most are buried in the Forgan Cemetery. Jeremiah J. Leaming was born 21 Oct 1848, Dallas Co. Iowa; died 20 Mar 1944, Beaver Co. OK. He married in 1879 to Martha Anne James, b. 7 Apr 1859, Dallas Co., Iowa; d. 24 Feb 1949, Beaver Co., OK; dau. of Daniel James and Martha Bailey. I've an overwhelming amount of data on this family that extends to about 1649 in Southampton, Long Island -- for any who are similarly obsessed with historical detritus.
