George Forry, about 1916
Bixby, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma

George Forry, 1856-1943 lived in Bixby, Oklahoma where his son, L.M. Forry had a drugstore. First a farmer, he became a car salesman. He traveled to Detroit on car business, was invited to tour the Ford plant. He walked into a room and to his surprise, Henry Ford was sitting at a desk. Mr. Ford gave him a hand written card giving access to tour the plant.
