Yesterday about three o'clock the body of Edward Burgman, an elderly gentleman of about 65 years of age was discovered in the coal shed at his place in the east part of town. The little child of Edward Lucas living near and playing about first noticed and told of the body lying there. Physician was called and examination disclosed that heart falure was the cause of his heath. He was apparently in good health previous to this time. He had been living alone and has no relatives here. The officers notified his people at Washingon, Pennsylvania, his former home before coming to this country. He is said to have some property here and money in the bank. The remains were taken to the undertaking room at the Langston hardware store and are awaiting instructions that are expedted from his relatives.

R.Vanderburg

Word was received here the latter part of the week of the death of R. Vanderburg, at Richmondville, New York. Mr. Vanderburg had been in ill health for many months, suffering from a complication of diseases, the most prominent of which was a serious liver trouble. He left here on December 16, for his old home in New York, going to Richmondville, where he remained at the home of his niece, Mrs. Nellie Johns, up to the time of his death of January 21st. Mr Vanderburg had lived here a number of years, and left considerable property here. He was a man well liked by all who knew him and his Guymon friends were among his last thoughts, for he spoke of them and wished them well shortly before passing away. He was buried in the Richmondville cemetery.
