Funeral services for Anna Joe DUSTMAN, 71, of Muldrow, are being held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug 30, 2003, at Eastside freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow, with Rev. Anthony Williams officiating. Burial is in Gans Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Roland. She was born April 21, 1932, in Redland, to Thomas Andrew "Andy" CANTRELL and Cammie Elizabeth (WATTS) CANTRELL. She died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Larry and his wife Judy, and Wayne, and his wife Carol, and Thomas; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one step-daughter, Norma "Sally" and her husband Bud; two step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Dicy WALTON HURST, 91, of Keota, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept 2, 2003, at Mallory Chapel in Stigler, with Rev. Richard Hurst and Frank Prater officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery near Stigler, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler. She wes born March 5, 1912, in Gan, to David Monroe and Della (WADGERS)  WALTON. She died Sunday, Aug 31, 2003, in Stigler. Survivors include five daughters and one son-in-law,Maydean, Wanda, Francis, Linda, and Rosa and her husband Bill; three sons and daughter-in-law, Kenith and his wife Ruby, and Leonard and his wife Ina; and J.L. and his wife Janet; 26 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur "Judge" HURST; one son, Faron HURST; one daughter Pauline McGUIRE; and two grandsons.

Funeral services for Joe Kendall "Bob" NEWMAN, 31, of Quinton, were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 1, 2003, at R.E. Shearwood Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Leonard Karch officiating. Burial was in Sans Bois Cemetery, under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler. He was born Sept 17, 1971, in Cooper Hill, Tenn., to Archie and Helen (SEAGRAVES) NEWMAN. He died Wednesday, Aug 27, 2003, in Blocker. Survivors include his parents of Quinton; three brothers, Todd, Steve and Archie Don; two sisters, Lisa and Debra; five nieces; seven nephews; and relatives and friends, including Brad. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jo Ab and Imogene YOUNG, Robert NEWMAN, Myrtle NEWMAN and Oscar FORREST.

Memorial services for Connie PATTERSON, 53, of Alma, Ark., will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003, at the Edwards Van-Alma Chapel in Van Buren, Ark. Cremation was under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren. She died Monday, Sept 1, 2003, in an area hospital. Survivors include her husband, Tom PATTERSON of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jayme and Bobby, Valerie and Tim, and Lena and David; seven grandchildren; her parents, Betty and Harry ELLIS; three sisters, Lena Margaret, Sharon and Carrie; and one brother, Harry Joe.

Funeral services for Michael Don PETTIT, 30, of Marble City, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept 2, 2003, at House of Praise Church in Marble City, with Revs Dwain Hardbarger and Clifton Pettit officiating. Burial was in Flute Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born  on March 28, 1973, in Tahlequah, to Jack PETTIT and Mary Lee (CHEATER) PETTIT. He died Friday, Aug 29, 2003, in Tulsa. Survivors include his parents; two sisters, Marie and Jennifer; and one brother, Jack Jr.

Funeral services for Betty PRINE, 75, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept 2, 2003, at the Northside United Pentecostal Church, with burial in Macedonia Cemetery in Uniontown, Ark., under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. She was born July 20, 1928, in Short. She died Friday, Aug 29, 2003, in Fort Smith. Survivors include two sisters, Shirley and Phyllis;and two brothers, James L. and Leeho. She was preceded in death by her husband, Odell PRINE.

PROCK, 86, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept 2, 2003, at the Haven Heights Baptist Church, with Revs. Tim Prock, Jackie Edwards and Pete Butler officiating. Burial was in Greenhill Cemetery, in Cameron, under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. He was born Sept 22, 1916, in Shady Point, to Jesse and Estella PROCK. He died Saturday, Aug 30, 2003, in an area nursing home. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy PROCK of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. W. Neal and his wife Nita; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mabel, Imojean and Ramona; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, L. D. PROCK; and four sisters, Nevada FETTERS, Bernice PROCK, Alice JOHNSON and Nellie LAWSON.

Funeral services for Doris Oneta RAGAN, 90, of Vian, were held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept 3, 2003, at the Church of Christ in Sallisaw, with Bros Royce Martin and Vernon Guess and  John David Bennett officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born Feb. 6, 1913, in Duke, to William Roy MURPHY and Rose Ana (SMOOT) MURPHY. She died Thursday, Aug 28, 2003, in Broken Arrow. She married Earl RAGAN on Aug. 16, 1930, in Sayre. He preceded her in death on Nov 17, 1995.  Survivors include two granddaughters, Karen Irene and her husband David Roy and Delores June and her husband John David; four great-grandchildren; one great-grandson; five sisters, Lucille, Nettie, Della May, Florence and Willie; one brother, Lonnie; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Doris Erlene CRAGHEAD on March 23, 1990 in Sallisaw.

Funeral services for Florence REGO, 76, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept 2, 2003, at Southside Full Gospel Church in Fort Smith, with burial in Steep Hill Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood, Ark. She died Friday, Aug 29, 2003, in her home. Survivors include two daughters, Malisa and Janie; three sons, Donald, James and Randall; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille and Isibelle; two brothers, George Dee and Noah Reid. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert REGO.

Leroy Reid officiating, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born on Dec 5, 1919, in Akins community, to Harmon Edward MOSS and Cora Lee (MONROE) MOSS. She married Jim ALLEN on Oct 24, 1936, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death on Feb. 10, 1968. Survivors include three daughter, Carol, Debra and Alice Faye; two sons, James Carlin and Clifford; one granddaughter whom she raised, Regina; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Wanda; and several other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Margaret CLARK.

BEACH 67, of Seminole, formerly of Alaska, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept 6, 2003, at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, with Revs. Doyle Long and Steve Cline officiating. He married Lora Jean SELF on Sept 26, 1997, in Fort Smith, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Lora BEACH of the home; two sons, Larry and Gary; three grandchildren; one step-son, Ray; one step-daughter, Vivian; and one brother, W.C.;

She was born Aug 26, 1917, in Gans, to W.W. and Ester "Leslie" WILSON. She died Friday, Aug 22, 2003, in Oklahoma City. Survivors include five sons, Gene, Bill, Melvin, Howard Jr., and Jackie; two daughters, Loretta and Denna; 24 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Dorothy, Marie and Virgie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard COOPER; and her parents.

Burial is in Box Cemetery north of Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born Dec.6, 1955, in Sallisaw, to Joe Henry RANDOLPH and Gladys Kay (Lee) RANDOLPH. He died Thursday, Sept 4, 2003, in Sallisaw. He married Kimberly Denise GILES on April 21, 1982, in Oklahoma City. Survivors include his wife, Kim RANDOLPH of the home; one daughter, Holly Nicole; two sons, Michael Joe Jr. and Zachary Wade; his mother Gladys Kay (RANDOLPH) CRAIGHEAD; one sister, Sherry; one brother, Chuck; four nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; and one sister, Rhonda YORK.

He was born July 24, 1944, in Long. He died Wednesday, Sept 3, 2003, in Fort Smith. Survivors include his wife, Patricia SEVENSTAR of Fort Smith; two daughters, Melanie and Kimberly; one son Michael; six grandchildren; his mother, Mildred SEVENSTAR; one brother, , Dean; one sister, Eva; 40 nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Nelson SEVENSTAR; and one sister, Connie SMITH.

Parish, Eulogist officiating. Burial was in U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary of Fort Smith. He was born July 28, 1920, in Fort Smith, to John STEVENSON and Edna STEVENSON. He died Thursday, Aug 28, 2003, in the Veteran's Hospital in Fayetteville, Ark. Survivors include four daughters, Patricia and Margaret, Antionette and Paula; six sons, John Edward, Daniel Paul, Samuel Marion, Michael Benow, Jarvis Erskin and Malcom Bendict; 40 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son Jerry STEVENSON.

Burial was in Blackjack Cemetery northwest of Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.  She was born Jan. 17, 1945, in Paw Paw Community, to Emmitt Dodson MATHIS and Anna Mae (MURPHY) MATHIS. She died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2003, in Fort Smith, Ark. She married Alton James BARNES on Sept 1, 2001, in Eureka Springs, Ark.  Survivors include her husband of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Sherri and Shawn; one son and daughter-in-law, Stephen Todd and Michelle;  two stepdaughters and sons-in-law,  Kim and Jack, and Cynthia and Max; one stepson, Mark; 17 grandchildren; one sister, Willie Alene; one brother, Leo; She was preceded in death by one son, Greg HOLT; and one daughter, Stephanie HOLT.

He married Joyce Kay JOHNSON on March 11, 1960, in Wichita, Kan.Survivors include his wife, Joyce of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Mark; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Keith, Scott and Dana, and Grant  and Brandi; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his mother, Elsie FOREMAN. He married Sandra Kay ISHAM on July 25, 1985, in Buckley, Wash. .Survivors include his wife, Sandra SHONKWILER of the home; four children; three stepchildren; two sisters; and a brother.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy WILSON; three daughters, Jessica, Haylie and Tawny; one grandson;  his mother, Jeannine WILSON; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Portia and her husband, Junior and Vickie and her husband, Jim;  two stepdaughters, Shannon and Kylie; two stepsons, Steven and Garrett and several aunts, uncles and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl E. WILSON Sr. .

Graveside services for Billy Joe WORTHEAN 72, of Selma, Calif., formerly of Roland, were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug 28, 2003, at the Kingsburg Cemetery in Kingsburg, Calif., under the direction of Creighton Memorial Chapel of Kingsburg. He was born in Roland, to William WORTHEAN and Alma WILLIAMS. He died Monday, Aug 25, 2003, in Selma, Calif. Survivors include his mother of Muldrow. He was preceded in death by his father.

He was born June 19, 1953, in Stillwater. He died Monday, Sept. 8, 2003, in VA Hospital in Fayetteville. Survivors include two daughters, Desiree and Delana; one son, David; one grandchild; his mother, Claudine HUGGINS; two sisters, Angela and Cheri; one brother, Michael.

Graveside services for Grace HELTON LAW, 69, of Paris, Ark., were held at 10 am., Friday, Sept 12, 2003, at Paint Rock Cemetery in Paris, under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris. She died Tuesday, Sept 9, 2003, in Paris. Survivors include four daughters, Beulah, Isabel, Judy, and Myrtie; two sons Ronald Joe and Jerry Don; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Beulah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Franklin and Liella Grace (FORLINES) FRANKLIN; one son, John HELTON; and her husband, J.W. HELTON.

Shon Kelly PILKINGTON, 35, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003, in Fort Smith. He was born Dec. 11, 1967, in Oklahoma City. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Shady Point Cemetery in Shady Point under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau. He is survived by his mother, Tita LEMINGS; his father, Dan PILKINGTON; a sister, Julie; his maternal grandfather, Dave MONKS; and maternal grandmother, Audra DUNCAN.

Delbert D. ECK, 82, of Red Oak, Okla. died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003, in Red Oak. No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Stigler. He was born March 24, 1921, in Brookville, Ohio, to Slyvester and Viola Mae (ALEXANDER) ECK. Survivors include his wife, Lydia; two daughters and one son-in-law, Susan and Connie and her husband Ray; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and his wife Brenda and Roger and his wife Roxann; 52 grandchildren; four stepdaughters, Betty and Hershell, and Debbie and Tony, Shirley and Larry, and Rhonda and Roger; 10 stepsons, David and Shirley, Arnold Dean and  Sue Ann, Johnny and Judy, Jimmy and Brenda, Kenneth and Susan, and Bobby and Linda, Dale and Sonya, Dennis and  Tonya, Harold and Cindy, and Keith and Brenda; two sisters, Ruth and Opal. He was preceded in death by two wives, Ester C. ECK and Juanita ECK; his parents; one step-son, Darrell CRASE; four sisters, Isabel L. PUMPHREY, Leatha "Fern" BERRY, Hazel ULLERY HENSEL and Helen MILNER; and two brothers, Leroy ECK and Albert ECK.

(HUGHES) DAVID. She married Paul Wayne JORDAN on Dec 22, 1983, in Fort Smith. Survivors include her husband of the home; one daughter, Ashley; two sons, Cody and Mason; and two grandchildren; her parents, William and Lola DAVID; one sister, Dawn; one brother, Michael; one uncle, Charles; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, J.D. and Isabell JORDAN; and several other relatives and friends.

"Junior" McGOWAN, 72, of Sallisaw are being held at  2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Sallisaw with Revs. Monroe Lowrimore and Gary Ledbetter officiating.  Burial is in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born April 15, 1931, in Potwim, Kan. to Raymond Earl McGOWAN and Vera Mae (STEELE) McGOWAN. He died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003, in Sallisaw.   He married Ethel Elizabeth BURRIS on Sept 6, 1955, in Stilwell. Survivors include his wife, Ethel E. McGOWAN of the home; six daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda Lee and her husband Gary, Ethel Mae and her husband Steve, Rosa Mary and her husband Mike, Sharon Kay and her husband Chuck, Sue Nell and her companion Mike, and Lisa Ann and her husband Brad; three sons and daughters-in-law, J.D. and his wife Betty, Bill and his wife Jewell, and Sherman and his wife Gloria; 20 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Carl Wayne, Charles Kenneth, E.C. "Sam" MATTHEWS, and Troy Duane;  six sisters, Thelma, Norma Sue, Patsy Lee, Opal Darlene, Shirley Kay, and Nelda Sharlene.

Funeral services for Bivra Jean Casey MOCK, 73, of North Richland Hill, Texas, formerly of Sallisaw, are being held at 10 a.m. on Saturday Sept 27, 2003, at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, with Rev Brian Zinck officiating. Burial is in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.  She was born Dec. 28, 1928, in Vian, to John Wesley CASEY and Bertha Elizabeth (WATSON) CASEY. She died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003, in North Richland Hills. She married Rufus Wayne "Tige" MOCK on June 9, 1951 in Dallas. Survivors include her husband of the home; three daughters, Chooky, Bonnie and Heather; six grandchildren; her mother; three sisters, Doris E., Joyce, and Bonnie. She was preceded in death by her father; and three brothers, John B., Donald and Michael.

Raymond Lloyd POULSON, 75, of Webbers Falls, died Thursday, Sept 25, 2003, in Muskogee. Memorial services will be at a later date in Carthage, Mo., cremation was under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born Oct. 26, 1927, in Carthage, to William POULSON and Rachel (PATTON) POULSON. Survivors include one daughter, Connie; three grandchildren; two sisters, Helen and Neva; and two brothers, Melvin and Lester. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Edna SMITH and Nora NELSON; and four brothers, T.L. "Smokey" POULSON, Harold "Shorty" POULSON, Vacil POULSON and R.C. "Tuffy" POULSON.

Funeral  services for Lillian Marie RAMEY, 90, of Muldrow, are being held at 2 p.m.on Saturday, Sept 27, 203, at the Eastside Free Will Baptist Church in Muldrow, with Rev. Tommy Treat officiating. Burial is in Lee's Chapel Cemetery south of Muldrow under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Roland. She was born Jan. 16, 1913, in Hanson, to Robert Lee FARMER and Mary (MEEKS) FARMER. She married Robert Vernie "Son" RAMEY on Sept 2, 1932, in Muldrow. He preceded her in death on Nov 18, 1977. Survivors include three daughters, Patsy, Margie, and Kay; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren;  two sisters, Nora Mae and Aline; two brothers-in-law,  Rev. Carthel and Ethel. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Leola HOLT and two brothers, Sidney and Frank FARMER.

Funeral services for Ryan WALTON, 20, of Fort Smith, Ark., are being held at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, with burial in Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville, Ark. under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.  Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Gayle and Alan JUDKINS; his father, Mark WALTON;  one brother, Matt and wife Ginger; his grandmother, Edith WALTON; and great-grandmother, Jimmie MEFFORD. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, R.P. Walton.

Funeral services for Lee Roy WRIGHT Jr., 70, of Vian, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26, 2003, at the First Baptist Church in Blackgum, with Rev. Dale Ritter officiating. Burial will be in Box Cemetery north of Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born Nov. 8, 1932, in Vian, to Lee Roy WRIGHT Sr. and Vada Mae (MYERS) WRIGHT. He died  Monday, Sept 22, 2003, in Tulsa. He married Shirley DOUGLAS on Feb. 28, 1953, in Van Buren, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Shirley WRIGHT of the home; one daughter, Cindy; two sons, Keith and Tommy; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; three sisters, Dixie, Mary and Maggie; one brother, Terry; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Opal Lee WRIGHT, 63, of Sallisaw died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, in Sallisaw. She was born April 3, 1940, in Hagarville. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Greater New Bethel Baptist Church in Sallisaw with burial at Gans Cemetery in Gans under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She is survived by her husband, James; four daughters, Addie, Kela, Katherine, and Linda; two sons, David, and Wynne; a sister, Inola; a brother, Hall; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
