 Town of STRONG CITY NE1/4 of 25-14-23

 

STRONG CITY (NE1/4 of 25-14-23) Located seven miles northeast of Cheyenne. Post office from September 26, 1912 to April 3, 1981. Named for Clinton R. Strong, railroad developer. It has a unique water tower that is still standing in 2009. The town is no longer in existence except for the Koch’s Leather Shop and one church.
