MAC ARTHUR (NE1/4 of 11-14-22)

 

MAC ARTHUR (NE1/4 of 11-14-22) Located about six miles west of Hammon. A post office from October 14, 1901 to January 31, 1907. It was named for Major General Arthur MacArthur, hero of the Philippine insurrection and father of General Douglas MacArthur. No longer in existence.
