In the spring of 1939, District No. 58 (Mt. Rose) was closed. Part of the students were transferred to IC-7 (Cheyenne) and the others were transferred to IC-6 (Reydon).

 

School board members from 1939 until 1941 were J.T. Ross, M.E. Bauman, and E.W. Sewell. School board members from 1941 until 1946 were Royal Myers, M.E. Bauman and E.W. Sewell.

 

On June 1, 1946 the district was dissolved and divided between IC-7 (Cheyenne) and IC-6 (Reydon.
