Record OBITUARY: The Hugo Daily News, Sunday, March 24, 1940 Funeral services for the Rev. H. T. Howell of Fort Towson were conducted this afternoon at the White Church Cemetery east of Antlers. Interment was in the White Church Cemetery with Snow Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Rev. Howell died Friday at 5 p.m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L. J. Glaze in Fort Towson after a prolonged illness. He had made his home with his daughter for the past two years. He was born June 17, 1857. He was a retired Baptist minister. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. L. J. Glaze, Ft Towson, Mrs. Ora Standridge, Opal, Arkansas, Mrs. Eula Edward Turlock, California, Mrs. Sallie Herron, Modesto, California and Mrs. Annie Cotton, Atwood; four sons, Ernest of Turlock, Calif.; J. M. of Stratford, Oklahoma, L. T. of Tallant, Oklahoma and John Howell of Mena, Arkansas.

Record: OBITUARY: The Star, Stratford, Oklahoma, Date Unknown. Obituary Mrs. H. T. Howell - Miss Alice Adaline Stroupes was born in Clark County, Arkansas, June 13, 1859, died at the home of her daughter at Antlers, Okla., February 12, 1936. Age 76 years 7 months and 29 days. Funeral services were held February 13, 1936, interment was made in the cemetery near Dealey. She was married to Rev. H. T. Howell in Clark County, Arkansas, August 13, 1877 then they moved to a farm near Stratford, O. T. and have lived in this coummunity ever since. About two weeks before her death she asked to be taken to her daughter's Mrs. L. J. Glaze near Antler's, Oklahoma, where she passed away. Twelve children were born, nine of whom are still living, J. M. Howell, Stratford, Ernest Howell, Stratford, Leonard Howell, Tallent, Okla., John Howell, Mena Arkansas, Mrs. L. J. Glaze, Antlers, Okla., Mrs. Carl Cotton, Atwood, Okla., Mrs. M. C. Standridge, Opal, Arkansas, Mrs. W. O. Edwards, Turlock, Calif., Mrs. J. M. Herron, Sacramento, Calif. Mrs. Howell was sick since April 1935 and died from cancer of the throat, suffering untold pain. She had been a member of the Baptist church for nearly --- century and lived strong in the faith. The Star extends sympathy to the bereaved family who have lost a loving wife and mother.

NAME: OBITUARY: The Antlers American, Antlers, Oklahoma, Thursday, 18 January 1934 Will L. Glaze, 56 yrs old Pushmataha County citizen who died January 10, 1934 was buried in White Church Cemetery January 11, 1934. The Rev. Thomas Jacobs, Ft Towson conducted the services. Born in Arkansas and moved here about fourteen years ago. He had been an active Holiness minister for more than twenty years. Mr. Glaze had been in ill health for some time and had returned from a hospital in Okla. City only a short time before his death. He is survived by his wife, nine children are: Mrs. Ethel Graham, Emmet Glaze, Ola Jobe Glaze, Earl Glaze, Hugh Glaze, Ina Glaze, Clifford Glaze, Willie Glaze and Elzie Glaze. Woodruff Funeral Home, Antlers was in charge of the burial.

Record: OBITUARY: The Antlers American, Thursday. 26 December 1974, page 11 Funeral services were held Saturday, December 21st. for Lucy Jane Glaze, 94 of Antlers. Rev. H. L. Morrison officiated. She was born in Arkansas and died at the Pushmataha Hospital on December 19th. She had lived in Pushmataha and Choctaw Counties for the past 30 years and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Survivors include: four sons, Cliff of Gridley, Ca., Buford of Amarillo, Tx., Willie of Hugo and Elzie of Lubbock, Tx., two daughters, Ethel Graham of Heaveneter and Mrs. Ola Job of Antlers, two brothers, Leonard Howell of Collinsville and Earnest Howell of Richmond, Ca., three sisters, Sallie Herron and Eula Edwards of Calif. and Annie Cotton of Atwood; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Interment will be held at Dela Cemetery with Coffey Funeral Home of Antlers handling the arrangements.

Record: Antlers American Thursday, July 10, 1958 Former Rattan Man Dies in Clinton Funeral services were conducted in Alex Monday for Elvin Fleming formerly of Rattan, who died Saturday morning in the Clinton hospital. Interment was at the Dibble Cemetery. Mr. Fleming is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Taylor Fleming of Rattan and a brother of Mrs. Edna Campbell, Gilbert Fleming & Charles Fleming of Rattan & of Byron Fleming of Darwin. Survivors include his wife and nine children. Going from here to attend the services were Mr. & Mrs. Gilbert Fleming, Byron Fleming, Mrs. Edna Campbell, and Mrs. Laura Morrison.
