Roy C Rodgers Buried Saturday
Services for Roy C Rodgers, 64, who died suddenly at his home in
the Nashoba country Thursday, were held at 2:30 pm Saturday in the
Nashoba school gymnasium. Mr. Howard Wilson, Church of Christ
minister, conducted the rites.
Coffey funeral home made burial in the Alex Stephens Memorial
cemetery at Clayton.
Bears were Lawrence Wade, Brad Cothran, Ted Hill, Cecil Hogan,
Frank Johnson, Ace McKaughan.
Mr Rodgers was born April 7, 1895, in Burnett county, Texas. He
held membership in the Church of Christ. He was a well known
rancher. He lived in the Nashoba area the last 23 years.
Survivors are his wife, Jennie G of the home; daughter, Leota
McDaniel, Nashoba; son, Roy C Rodgers of McAlester; four sisters;
four grandchildren.
Roy and Jennie are buried at A L Stephens Memorial Park, Clayton,
Pushmataha County, Oklahoma, Lat: 34° 37' 21"N, Lon: 95° 19' 24"W
