Taylor Fleming Rites Monday

Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 31, at 2 p.m. from the Rattan Baptist church for Edward Taylor Fleming, 90-year old long-time Push county resident and retired farmer who died Friday, Dec. 28 in Tulsa.

Interment was made in Belzoni cemetery. Whisenhunts of Tulsa was in charge assisted locally by Coffey's.

Born Nov. 9, 1872 in Bowling Green, Ky., Fleming is survived by four daughters, Mrs. A. B. Childers, Mrs. Jane Worthington, Mrs. Clara McConnell all of Tulsa, and Mrs. Edna Nale, Thorndale, Texas; three sons, Byron Fleming of Darwin, Charles Fleming of Rattan, and Gilbert Fleming of Fort Towson; a brother, Tom Fleming and a sister, Mrs. Letha Madding, both of Rattan, and another sister, Mrs. Etta McCoy of California, a number of grand-children and great-grandchildren.
