A MERRY
FISHING PARTY
Last Saturday a party of ladies and gentlemen spent the day on Dumpling
creek, fishing and pic-nicking. While we don't think the finny tribe suffered a
very heavy loss from the invasion of the crowd in their domicile, the pic-nicking
was good, and each member of the party expressed themselves as having spent
a most enjoyable day. After returning late in the evening several of the party
continued the pleasures of the day by attending the picture show at the
auditorium. Those of the party were: Mesdames W. E. Johnson, Viola Davis,
Maloney Carlisle and Daniels; Misses Susie Redman, Pearl Hayes, Addie Lewis
and Mary McKinney; Messrs. Robt. Price, Will Read and Clyde Redman.
(Now, sho nuff, we did ketch some little fishes.)

Mrs. W. E. Johnson and Mrs. Viola Davis left yesterday morning for Kellond
where they will spend several days visiting friends and fishing.
