Quarterly Report July-August Issue #2

Hello,
Summer is here, it is hot and I’m ready for fall. Hope all has had a great year hunting your ancestry.  I have found some and some has found me. I enjoy it when I find my people. Hope all have successfully years looking. 

We are looking for stories for a another book, hope many of you will write a few pages of what you remember of days gone by and mail them to us at Clayton Genealogy Society, Box 453, Clayton, Oklahoma 74536.

Our 2013 Calendars are ready!! We have annual calendars by the Clayton Genealogy Society and our first one was in 2005.  We have pictures of Clayton and surrounding areas.  The calendars are $10.00 each, $12.00 if mailed.  

We have a new book “MEMORIES OF CLAYTON, OKLAHOMA Collections of Clayton Genealogy Society Calendar Pictures of 2005 to 2012.” They are $35.00, $40.00 if we mail them.  Everyone is sure to enjoy these. 

We still have some of our first book that we made in 2007.  They are “MEMORIES OF CLAYTON, OKLAHOMA AND NEARBY COMMUNITIES“  A COMPILATION OF SHORT STORIES BY CLAYTON GENEALOGY SOCIETY.  They are $40.00 and $45.00 if mailed.

We would love to have everyone join the Clayton Genealogy Society.  We meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Cartwright Memorial Library, Clayton, Oklahoma.  Everyone is welcome.  If I can be of help please just give me a call at 918-569-4513.

We have acquired some new DVDs of South Ohio Multi-County, North and South Illinois Multi-County, West and East Kentucky Multi-County, West and East Tennessee Multi-County, North West Missouri Multi-County, South West Missouri Multi-County, South East Missouri Multi-County, North East Missouri Multi-County,  North Arkansas Multi-County, and South Arkansas Multi-County. These DVDs have maps and data they are informative. Included in this newsletter is a copy of the “Table of Contents” and two sample pages from the Sebastian County History, Sebastian County, Arkansas from the North Arkansas Multi-County disk.  This is to show you what is available on these disks.  We are planning on adding to our collection other States at a later date.  Any one that would like to make an appointment to view them just call Geraldine Grammer at 918-569-4513 or Betty Sanders at 918-569-7776.
