Fairland News-Herald dated 1 21 1929.                 There is a column Eighteen Years Ago in which there is an article about my Grand Mother, Susan Jane Garber Babb.

    Mrs. A. F. Babb, living with her husband seven miles south of town had a stroke of paralysis last Thursday while in the vineyard nearest her home.  She was discovered shortly afterward and a doctor was sent for but she never ralied and passed away a few hours later.  Funeral services were held at the methodist church, the day following and interment was made in the city cemetery.
