Surname: EVANS
Submitted on 8 Mar 2015 by John C. Evans

Looking for the burial place of George Washington Evans, first mayor of Okmulgee in 1900.  He was born in Jackson County, Alabama, on
August 15, 1859, and died in Okmulgee on August 09, 1929.  He arrived in the Indian Territory in 1887 and settled in Eufaula moving to Okmulgee
in early 1900.  There is a small chance that he is buried either in Eufaula or Muskogee.  I would appreciate any help that might aid me in locating his burial place.

If you are Mary and would like to contact myself via this e-mail please feel free to do so

Surname: PERRY, STAHL
Submitted on 26Sep 2013 by: Shelley Cardiel

I've "rescued" an old postcard photograph of the home of Mr. & Mrs. R. E.Perry of Henryetta, Oklahoma.  The postcard is dated December 1913, having
been mailed to Mr. & Mrs. W. B. STAHL in Tulsa, OK.  A small child on a tricycle appears in front of the home.  I am hoping to be able to return the photograph
to a member of this PERRY Family.  If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.

Surname: FOSTER, DILLON
Submitted on 19Jun2012 by Dewey Klutts

I badly need a birth date on one of my ancestors who was born in either Okmulgee or Henryetta, OK about 1942-1945. His name is Johnney Lee Foster and his mother was Alta Lee Foster nee Dillon. He left OK in the early 1960's and moved to the Los Angeles, CA area. I have located about six JLF's that live in California, but their addresses are too old to be of any use in locating him and without an accurate date of birth I am stymied. Alta left the family when Johnney and his sister Elaine were young children.

Surname: VIERNE, VERNS , WHITE
Submitted on 8Apr2012 by: Darrel Dexter
Trying to locate descendants and information on Francois Mauris (Frank Morris) Vierne (Verns) born about 1896 in France. His wife was Florence (I think her maiden name was White), a Creek Indian. They owned a house and lived in Dewar, Okmulgee Co., Okla., and are on the 1930 and 1934 censuses there. Their children are Frank Albert Vierne (Verns) born about 1935 in Dewar and Helen Kathleen Vierne (Verns) born about 1927 in Dewar, who married Damon Ralph Hale in 1948 in Arkansas. Frank Morris was a son of Albert A. and Helen (Deleuze) Vierne, natives of France. Helen (Deleuze) Vierne is my great-great-aunt.

Surname:  NORRIS
Submitted on 20Jul2011 by Richard Walker
Trying to locate information on G. N. Norris and wife, Louis (not Louise) Norris (my maternal grand parents), who appear on the 1930 census as living in Wolf Community, Seminole County, Oklahoma.  I have no concrete information as to these individuals before or after this 1930 census entry.  The 1930 census states that both G. N. and Louis Norris were born in Oklahoma, with (1) G. N.'s father being born in Minnesota, (2) Louis' father born in North Carolina, and (3) both of their mothers born in Texas. From a WWI draft registration I have found a George Norris of Bartlett (Dighton), Okmulgee County, Oklahoma.  From this registration, the next of kin appears to be Louis Norris (although the handwriting is hard to read). Any information as to the George Norris who lived in the Bartlett (Dighton) Community during WWI would be greatly appreciated.
