Late Judge's Wife Is Dead; Rites Tuesday

Mrs. James S. (Bertha) Armstrong, 87, of 309  NW 16, died Sunday at her home. She was the widow of Judge James R. Armstrong, a prominent political figure in Oklahoma for many years.

Services will be at 3.30 pm Tuesday in Louise Prichard Chapel, First Baptist Church, with burial in Fairlawn Cemetery. Smith & Kernke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Armstrong, a native of Cuthbert, Ga., had lived in Oklahoma City, 52 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and United Daughters of Confederacy. She was the first president of Oklahoma Hospitality Club :and a past state president of Confederate Memorial Association.

Suńvīng are two sons William Jeff, of the home, and J. Jasper. 1919 NW 42.
