Thurman A Marlar, 88, passed away Oct.24, 1998. He was born to Edward
Thurman Marlar and Pearl Anderson Marlar in Jones, OK on April 13, 1910.
Mr. Marlar was retired from Sun Oil Co. and was a member of Putnam City
Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; daughter, Phyllis A
Jayne & husband, Howard, Edmond, OK; son, Richard L Marlar, Denver, CO;
6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to
Deaconess Foundation, designated for kidney or cardiac care, 5300 N
Grand Blvd, OKC, OK 73112. Services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October
27, at Gene Adams Chapel, with interment at
Kolb Cemetery, Spencer, OK.

Helen Marlar, age 70, Oklahoma City. She passed away September 17 at the
Baptist Hospital. She was born May 5, 1911 in Texarkana, Texas.
Services
Saturday 1PM at the Bill Eisenhour Chapel, with burial in
Kolb Cemetery.
She came to Oklahoma City in 1917.
She was a housewife & married Thurman Marlar May 17th, 1930 in Jones, Okla. She is survived by husband
Thurman, son Richard of Findley, Ohio, daughter Phyllis Jayne of Corona,
California & 7 grandchildren.
